Baty, Mauricio and Mark Vientos will battle for starts at third base, but Mauricio's .886 OPS this season against righties is well ahead of Baty's .729 OPS in that split.

Through 255 total plate appearances, Baty is slashing .237/.295/.431 with 33 RBI and 26 runs scored.

Baty has produced a lowly .420 OPS thus far in June, and he could be at risk of losing out on playing time against right-handed pitching when Mark Vientos (hamstring) likely returns from the injured list during the upcoming week.
