Anderson (blister) threw in a simulated game on Tuesday, though no timetable exists for his return to the rotation, reports J.P. Hoonstra of the Orange County Register.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's latest injury is "just" a blister, but those can certainly be tricky in terms of diagnosing a potential return date. Just ask Rich Hill. For now, the best guess is that Anderson back mid-September.

Anderson (blister) was placed on the 15-day DL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The writing was on the wall for this move, as manager Dave Roberts said earlier Tuesday that Anderson was unlikely to be cleared for Thursday's start. Anderson developed a blister during Saturday's game, which led to his second straight abbreviated outing. The lefty exited his Aug. 14 start, his first start back from back surgery, with a mild wrist sprain and he won't be eligible to return now until after rosters expand.

Anderson (blister) is considered unlikely to start Thursday against the Giants, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty developed a blister during Saturday's start, his second start back from back surgery, and the blister is reportedly affecting his slider. As a result, the Dodgers will likely have to turn elsewhere for Thursday's start and it seems possible Anderson could wind up back on the DL. Logan Bawcom is Thursday's probable starter for Triple-A Oklahoma City but is not on the 40-man roster.

Anderson was removed from Saturday's game because of a blister on his left index finger, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was rocked early on, giving up six runs on nine hits and two walks in just three innings, but apparently the blister made it difficult for him to locate.

Anderson left Saturday's game against the Reds with an apparent injury, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The results were poor for Anderson when he was on the mound -- he was rocked four five runs on nine hits in three innings -- and he once again had to bow out early due to injury. Trainers appeared to be examining Anderson's hand as he left the field. He suffered a wrist sprain last week in his return from back surgery.

Anderson (wrist) has been confirmed as Saturday's starter against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The notoriously oft-injured Anderson suffered a wrist sprain in his first start back from back surgery, but the sprain was deemed mild and there was never any indication that Saturday's start was in serious jeopardy. Anderson gave up five runs (including a pair of home runs) in his lone inning last weekend and will be pitching in one of the more homer-friendly parks in baseball in Cincinnati.

Anderson (wrist) is expected to start Saturday against the Reds, David Vassegh of 570 AM Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday -- two days after Anderson was diagnosed with a mild sprain -- that the lefty's wrist is "fine." Anderson was blown up for five runs on five hits (including two home runs) in one inning Sunday in his return from back surgery and will make for a high-risk option at Great American Ball Park.

Anderson (wrist) is expected to start Sunday in Cincinnati, Bill Plunkett of the OC Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson currently sports a 45.00 ERA after allowing five runs in one inning in his recent 2016 debut. It's probably best to keep him on the bench or waiver wire for this one.

Anderson (wrist) played catch Tuesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is expected to throw a bullpen session in the coming days and is optimistic that he'll be ready start when called upon. During his season debut, Anderson allowed five earned runs (including two home runs) in just one inning.

Anderson was wearing a wrist brace after suffering a sprain in Sunday's start but said he wouldn't need an MRI, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
It sound like the injury isn't major, and with five days off before his next projected start, Anderson might not have to miss a start. That said, he was only able to last one inning Sunday in his first start in return from a back injury. Expect him to attempt to throw a bullpen session early this week, but until then, consider him day-to-day.
