Moss went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in a 8-2 victory over the Astros on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old has a modest four-game hitting streak and three straight multi-hit games. He is 4-for-9 (.444) with a homer, four RBI and two runs in the first two games of this series versus Houston. Moss also has four homers since Aug. 11. He has gone deep 22 times in 281 at-bats this season.

Moss was activated from the DL earlier on Tuesday, and came back with a 3-for-5 and a home run effort in a late 7-5 loss against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Moss showed no effects of the ankle injury that held him out for most of July, hitting his 18th homer of the season in his first game back. Moss played left field, right field, and first base over the course of the game, and has split time pretty evenly across those positions over the course of the season. The Cardinals did not make any splashy additions to their lineup at the trade deadline, so it looks as though Moss will be a centerpiece of the Cardinals lineup moving forward.

The Cardinals have activated Moss from the disabled list on Tuesday, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss, who has been on the DL since July 5, will rejoin the Cardinals first base and outfield rotations. In a separate move, Randall Grichuk was sent back to Triple-A Memphis, making room for Moss to get playing time for St. Louis. Moss played in three rehab games for Double-A Springfield, collecting zero hits in eight at-bats.

Moss (ankle) could return as early as next Tuesday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports
EDGE Analysis
Moss has played in just one game on his rehab assignment at Double-A Springfield, so a Tuesday return is not set in stone at this point. Moss went 0-for-3 in his first game, however, he's been out since July 5, so it's only natural that he'll need a few games to get his timing back.

Moss (ankle) is unlikely to return to the team Wednesday, despite becoming eligible, Nick Krueger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After spraining his left ankle on July 5, Moss has been in a walking boot and receiving daily treatment, but despite progress he is still not ready to return to baseball activities. He will likely need a rehab assignment once he's healthy, so he will remain out for some time still.

Moss has been placed on the disabled list with a sprained left ankle, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first we've heard of the injury, but Moss is apparently dealing with a relatively severe sprain, as players typically get a few days to monitor an injury before a DL placement. The Cardinals' leading home run hitter, who's batting .251 on the year, won't be available until after the All-Star break, and the team recalled Randall Grichuk from Triple-A to take his place on the roster.

Updating a previous report, Moss will will start in right field Monday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Moss was initially scheduled to sit Monday with southpaw Jon Niese on the mound for Pittsburgh, but the late scratch of outfielder Tommy Pham forced a lineup adjustment. Pham had been scheduled to play center field, but Stephen Piscotty will play there instead, making room for Moss in right. Moss is hitting just .186 against southpaws this season, but is 2-for-7 with a double in his career against Niese.

Moss is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Pirates, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has made four straight starts for St. Louis, but will sit Monday with lefty Jon Niese on the mound for the opposing Pirates. While Moss starts out on the bench, Jedd Gyorko will get the call at first base.

Moss went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk Thursday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Moss' 17th blast of the year pulled the Cardinals within one run in the fourth inning of a game they'd go on to lose. He's now smashed eight homers in 21 June games to raise his slugging percentage to .581.

Moss hit his 15th home run, a solo shot, in a 1-for-4 game in Tuesday's loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Moss extended his hitting streak to seven games and has five home runs in that span. Considering the way he's hitting in June, with six home runs and 10 RBI already in just nine games (seven starts), the Cardinals are going to have an awfully hard time keeping him out of the lineup. He has started in five straight games since sitting out two games between June 4 and June 8.
