Moss is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Moss had gotten the start at first base in five of the Cardinals' last six games, but Matt Adams will get his turn in the order for Thursday's contest. The veteran utility man has clubbed seven home runs this year but he's striking out at a 31.8 percent clip thus far on the season.

Moss went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The home run was Moss' team-leading seventh this season, two more than Aledmys Diaz and Jeremy Hazelbaker. Moss is still batting .234, and with a strikeout rate now north of 30 percent, it's hard to expect much improvement in that department. Further, he will continue to lose out on occasional starts to Matt Adams, but Moss' power and spot in the heart of the Cardinals' order should keep him relevant in most formats.

Moss is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Moss and Matt Adams have been splitting time at first base fairly evenly, but in a rare move, Yadier Molina will garner the start at first base Wednesday. That being said, it's unlikely that Molina will get too many more starts at first base during the season, so Moss should be back in the lineup in the coming days.

Moss went 1-for-4 Sunday, saving the Cardinals from being shut out with a ninth inning solo home run in a 6-1 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was his sixth of the season, and while Moss' .227/.325/.545 slash line isn't going to make anyone in St. Louis forget Albert Pujols, it's good enough to keep getting him regular at-bats in a lineup struggling to generate offense at the moment.

Moss is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Moss was deployed in right field for the first time this season Thursday, but he'll move back to the bench for Friday's matchup with the Nationals as the Cardinals start Stephen Piscotty in right. That said, Moss appears to have carved out a regular role in the Cardinals' lineup, having appeared in five of the last seven games before Friday's day off.

Moss hit his fifth home run as part of a 4-for-5 day with three RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Moss was in a dreadful slump, with just one hit in 21 at-bats over the past 10 days. He's now hitting .231/.339/.577 as he mashed yet another home run against a right-handed pitcher. The Cardinals have given him just 11 plate appearances against left-handed pitching all year, a trend that can be expected to continue with the Cardinals loaded in the outfield.

Moss is back in the lineup Saturday, batting cleanup and playing first base against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Matt Adams batted cleanup Friday as the Cardinals' first baseman, but Moss will get his turn in that spot for Saturday's matchup. The left-handed Moss has slumped out of the gate this season, slashing .182/.279/.568, but he's been marginally better against right-handed pitching and all four of his home runs have come off righties. He'll draw a favorable matchup Saturday as the cleanup hitter against Cesar Vargas, who is making his big league debut.

Moss is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Moss will remain out of the lineup for the second straight game as the Cardinals again go with Matt Adams at first base. The 32-year-old Moss went 0-for-1 at the plate as a pinch hitter in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Chicago.

Moss is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has gone 0-for-8 with six strikeouts over the last two games, so he'll get a day off Tuesday to clear his head. Matt Adams will take over the first base duties in his stead and bat fourth against Jason Hammel.

Moss went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-8 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran first baseman made things interesting when he connected for a two-run shot off Reds closer J.J. Hoover, bringing the Cardinals within a run. The performance marked the first multi-hit game of the season for the 32-year-old, who now has the team lead in homers. Moss has now hit three homers in the last four games, and serves as a terrific option against right-handed pitching, who he's punished for 98 homers and a .341 wOBA over the course of his career.
