Brandon Moss is slated to miss at least Saturday's game with his right calf strain. The A's are facing a lefty in Tyler Skaggs on Saturday anyway. Expect Kyle Blanks to start in Moss's place.

Brandon Moss was forced from Friday's game because of tightness in his right calf. Moss had a grand slam in the first inning, so his work was done. Kyle Blanks came on in his place. Moss appears to be day-to-day.

Brandon Moss went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's loss to the Blue Jays. Moss now has seven home runs and 20 RBI over his last 18 games. He's tied for seventh in the AL with 11 home runs and ranks fourth with 41 RBI.

Brandon Moss went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Rays. Moss homered off of fellow lefty Erik Bedard in the fourth inning, and the hit would prove to be the only one the Athletics would have on the night, and they still won. Moss continues to hit, now with 10 home runs and 40 RBI along with a .301/.393/.595 slash line.

Brandon Moss tripled, doubled twice, walked twice and scored four runs as the A's topped the Indians 13-3 on Sunday. Moss's good games are usually of the two-homer variety, not so much with the triples, doubles and walks. It's the second time in his career that he's reached base five times and also the second time he's scored four runs. He's currently hitting .301, a huge improvement over last year's .256 mark.

Brandon Moss blasted two home runs and a double against the White Sox in Tuesday's win. He finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and five RBI. Moss feasts on right-handers with all kinds of stuff, so he had a sort of delicious buffet of Scott Carroll (RBI double!), Frank Francisco (two-run sixth inning homer!), and Matt Lindstrom (two-run eighth inning homer!) to enjoy tonight. This was his fifth career multi-homer game. Moss is slashing .286/.364/.526 with eight homers and 29 RBI (sixth in the AL).

Brandon Moss went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a win over the Nationals on Sunday. Moss had three of the Athletics' 13 hits on the day. Moss has four multi-hit games in his last eight games, raising his line to .274/.359/.476 with six homers and 28 RBI. He's quickly becoming a well-rounded fantasy performer.

Brandon Moss reached base four times Friday against the Astros. Moss had a pair of singles and was also hit by a pitch twice. Amazingly, both of the hit-by-pitches occurred in the team's seven-run ninth inning. He's the first player to be hit twice in the same inning since David DeJesus did it with the Cubs on June 8, 2012.

Brandon Moss went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run against the Reds on Tuesday. Moss took lefty Jeff Francis deep for a three-run shot in the second inning, his fourth of the spring. Moss has had a great spring showing, hitting .375 in 40 at-bats thus far.

Brandon Moss swatted a pair of homers in a losing effort against the Rangers on Saturday. Moss belted a two-run shot off Colby Lewis in the first inning, and repeated the feat off Nick Tepesch in the fifth. He finished the day 2-for-4 and is now slashing a mighty impressive .423/.483/.808 on the spring. He maintains a low profile in fantasy drafts despite smashing 30 homers in 2013, and looks like a solid value in the middle rounds.
