Marsh (undisclosed) did not make the Angels' 30-man roster.
EDGE Analysis
Though he is among the top prospects in the Angels' system, Marsh was not expected to break camp with the club since he has yet to move past the Double-A level. The 22-year-old will instead open the campaign at the team's alternate training site.

Marsh (undisclosed) arrived at camp Tuesday, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh had yet to report for undisclosed reasons and was placed on the 10-day injured list in early July. He's yet to be officially removed from that list, but he's evidently been cleared to practice with his teammates. While he's part of the Angels' 60-man player pool this season, he's yet to reach the Triple-A level, so he's unlikely to fill a major role with the big-league squad.

Marsh was placed on the 10-day injured list for undisclosed reasons Wednesday, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Marsh's absence were due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Angels wouldn't legally be able to confirm. The young outfielder is a member of the Angels' 60-man player pool, though he's yet to reach Triple-A and isn't on the team's 40-man roster, so his chances of playing a significant role this season appear slim.

Marsh will be part of the Angels' 60-man roster.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh, who is not on the 40-man roster, received an invite to camp in January, but it was interrupted by an elbow strain suffered while playing defense. Now with plenty of time to rest and rehab, one of the team's top hitting prospects will get a chance to continue his development at the major-league level. Considering Marsh had been pegged for Triple-A to start the season, however, so it seems unlikely he'll still be in the outfield mix when roster cut down to 30.

Marsh (elbow) will return to action Wednesday against Oakland, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh strained his elbow on an attempted diving catch in late February. Returning Wednesday gives him plenty of time to get ready for the start of the season. After posting an .811 OPS in 96 games for Double-A Mobile last season, he'll likely head to Triple-A Salt Lake to open the year.

Marsh (elbow) is recovering well and could resume playing in Cactus League games as soon as this week, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh strained his elbow while diving for a ball Feb. 23, but he appears on track to return to game action in the near future. The Angels' No. 2 prospect is likely to open the season in the minors regardless of how he performs during the remainder of the spring.

Marsh has begun playing catch as he recovers from a strained elbow, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a small but meaningful progression for Marsh, who had previously been limited to "the throwing part" of the activity, per Ardaya. The Angels' No. 2 prospect could still appear in some Cactus League games if his recovery continues to move forward without any setbacks.

Marsh's (elbow) recovery is going smoothly, and he's optimistic that he could appear in some Cactus League games before spring training ends, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh suffered a left elbow strain in late February that was expected to keep him sidelined for the entirety of spring training, but he could reportedly appear in some games before camp ends if his recovery continues to progress smoothly. The 22-year-old was effective in his first action at the Double-A level in 2019, and he could potentially debut at some point in 2020 if he continues to play well in the minors.

Marsh sprained his left elbow on a diving catch attempt Sunday and will be out for at least the rest of spring training and potentially longer, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The highly-rated outfield prospect hit .300/.383/.428 in 96 games for Double-A Mobile last season. As long as he doesn't miss too much time at the start of the regular season, he could still be in contention to make his big-league debut sometime in 2020 if he gets off to a good start at the Triple-A level.

The Angels announced Friday that Marsh has been invited to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Marsh will open camp with the big-league squad as one of the organization's top prospects. He appeared in 96 games at Double-A last season (now Double-A Rocket City), finishing with a .300/.383/.428 slash line with seven home runs, 43 RBI and 18 stolen bases.
