Kline (elbow) is throwing without restriction, Greg Swatek of The Frederick News-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old hasn't appeared in a game since 2015 with Double-A Bowie due to leg and elbow injuries. It seems that he's back to 100 percent, however. Kline has been throwing without pain since mid-December and appears to be primed to pick back up where he left off with the BaySox with the chance to move up to Triple-A if early returns are promising.

Kline remains several weeks away from beginning a throwing program following an arthroscopic procedure on his pitching elbow, MLB.com's Mike Rosenbaum reports.
EDGE Analysis
The original thought was that the once highly-touted prospect, who was the Orioles second-round pick in 2012, would be throwing within a month of the procedure he had in March. That plan has obviously changed and a timetable for Kline's recommencing of baseball activities appears cloudy at this point. The 25-year-old had Tommy John surgery last year and hasn't pitched since 2015.

Kline (elbow) underwent follow-up arthroscopic surgery on his throwing elbow last week, Steve Melewski of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The surgery is a follow-up to the Tommy John procedure that Kline underwent in October 2015. The report goes on to state that the 25-year-old will resume his throwing program in three to four weeks. With his recent procedure, it's possible that Kline will not be ready for the beginning of the regular season.

Kline (elbow) held a throwing session Tuesday and said he's had a "normal" offseason, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tommy John surgery knocked Kline out of action for the entire 2016 season, but he's now focusing on building back strength in his arm. The right-hander's goal is to begin the season with a full-season affiliate, rather than hanging back in extended spring training, with the goal of returning to the Double-A level, where he left off in 2015. In that campaign, Kline made eight starts at Double-A, posting a 3.66 ERA and 1.37 WHIP across 39.1 innings.

Kline (elbow) will throw from 120 feet next week, MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kline was shut down after eight starts last season. Then he made one appearance in fall instructional league before having surgery to repair a ligament in his elbow. At this rate he might be able to get back into game action late this summer. Kline was a highly regarded prospect when he was drafted in 2012, but his status had diminished even before last season.
