Treinen will receive a $6.4 million salary in 2019 after his agency announced Saturday that the reliever won his arbitration hearing, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

The 30-year-old's sterling won-loss record is just another component of a thoroughly dominant season, one that's seen him post career bests in ERA (0.81), WHIP (0.83), wins (nine) and strikeouts (96). Also of note is the fact Treinen has kept the ball in the park at the best rate of his major-league tenure, with his 0.2 HR/9 also a high-water mark.

However, Treinen was able to eventually record swinging strikeouts of Cameron Maybin and Nelson Cruz around a Jean Segura infield single to allow the Athletics to escape with the one-run victory. Despite the struggles, Treinen managed to lower his ERA to a sparkling 0.90 with his ninth straight scoreless outing, and he's now converted seven consecutive save chances dating back to July 24.
