Bengie Molina has retired. Molina sat out last season but left the door open for a return. He played 13 seasons as a member of the Angels, Blue Jays, Giants and Rangers. Molina posted a .274 career average and swatted 144 homers in 5,159 plate appearances.

Jon Heyman of SI.com reports that Bengie Molina will not play for anyone in 2011. No surprise there. Molina is saying he's still not officially retired, but it was unlikely we would see him play for anyone this season and it seems like a longshot the soon-to-be 37-year-old will ever suit up in a major league uniform again.
