Hernandez agreed to a minor-league deal with the Rangers on Wednesday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez bounced around between three different organizations during the 2018 season. He failed to appear in any big-league games after pitching 24.1 innings of relief for the Reds a year ago. The 26-year-old found moderate success (3.20 ERA) with Triple-A Oklahoma City within the Dodgers' system before being designated for assignment in early August, but his 4.55 FIP and 21:20 K:BB suggest that he was a tad fortunate. Hernandez will attempt to find a home in the Rangers' bullpen this spring.

Hernandez was designated for assignment by Milwaukee on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was sent off the 40-man roster in order to make room for Aaron Brooks, who had his contract purchased from the minors in a corresponding move. Since being claimed off waivers by the Brewers earlier this month, Hernandez has allowed four earned runs on two hits and 11 walks in 5.1 innings with Triple-A Colorado Springs. He will now be subject to waivers yet again.

Hernandez was claimed off waivers by the Brewers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez, who was designated for assignment by the Dodgers last week, will report to Triple-A Colorado Springs. The 26-year-old right-hander compiled a solid 2.52 ERA and 49:29 K:BB across 50 minor-league innings (between Double-A and Triple-A) before being cut loose by Los Angeles. He tossed 24.1 innings of relief for the Reds in 2017, posting a 5.18 ERA and 29:22 K:BB. Hernandez should serve as organizational bullpen depth for Milwaukee during the stretch run.

Hernandez was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Tuesday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was removed from the 40-man roster after the Dodgers made a couple moves prior to Tuesday's trade deadline. Across 25.1 innings of relief with Triple-A Oklahoma City this year, Hernandez logged a 3.20 ERA and 1.67 WHIP. He hasn't pitched in any games for the Dodgers and only holds 19 major-league appearances to his name, all coming with the Reds in 2017.

The Reds traded Hernandez to the Dodgers on Tuesday, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was designated for assignment by the Reds on Friday but the team was able to flip him to the Dodgers for Zach Neal and Ibandel Isabel. The 26-year-old was at Double-A Pensacola for the Reds, but is now and the Dodgers 40-roster and is headed for Triple-A Oklahoma City or Double-A Tulsa.

Hernandez was designated for assignment by the Reds on Friday, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez worked his way from Double-A up to the big leagues last season, but he struggled to the tune of a 5.18 ERA in Cincinnati. This was more of a procedural move than anything, as it allows the Reds to add Dylan Floro to the big-league roster. Hernandez will likely remain at Double-A as long as he clears waivers.

Hernandez has been optioned to Triple-A Louisville, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic Cincinnati reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez reached the majors for the first time in 2017 and struggled to a 5.18 ERA in 24.1 innings. The 26-year-old struck out a solid 26.9 percent of batters but walked far too many at 20.4 percent. He'll return to Triple-A Louisville, where he struggled similarly, walking as many batters as he struck out (19) in 17 innings. He won't be a significant part of a major-league bullpen until he can improve his control.

Hernandez faced four Brewers in the eighth inning Tuesday and retired none of them, allowing a two-run homer as well as three walks before being removed.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately for him, closer Raisel Iglesias cleaned up Hernandez's mess, but there's no doubt that the Dominican rookie has had a tough time of it in the majors, as evidenced by his 6.06 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 16.1 innings. On the bright side, he's struck out 24 batters in that span; however, he's also walked 13 and given up six homers. He'll need to do a lot better to guarantee himself a future in the Reds' bullpen.

Hernandez was promoted to the big-leagues prior to Friday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez will provide some more depth out of the bullpen for the Reds, as he's already made 10 relief appearances with the club this season. During 15.1 innings, he's posted a 5.28 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, which includes a disastrous outing against the Diamondbacks in late July. Besides that game, he's accumulated a solid 1.88 ERA and a 18:8 K:BB for the year.

Hernandez was optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez was called up earlier this month to bolster the Cincinnati bullpen, but was rocked for six earned runs in his last outing, Thursday against Arizona. The meltdown skyrocketed his season ERA to 5.28 over 15.1 innings, earning him the honor of being sent down to clear a roster slot for Saturday's starting pitcher, Robert Stephenson. Look for the right-handed reliever to see more opportunities at the Triple-A level and possibly vie for a late-season call-up.
