Vaughn will get playing time in right field now that Eloy Jimenez is healthy and active, Vinnie Duber of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Tony La Russa expressed confidence in Vaughn's ability to play right field. The White Sox have enjoyed flexibility at the designated hitter spot since demoting Yermin Mercedes, and putting Jimenez in left field will allow that to continue.

Vaughn started in left field and went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 4-3 loss to Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Monday's game marked the return of Eloy Jimenez (who served as the designated hitter) from a pectoral injury that had forced him to the sideline since the end of spring training. Jimenez is normally the White Sox's starter in left field, which is where Vaughn has been a regular presence this season. The two are expected to share both jobs, as manager Tony La Russa said he doesn't expect Jimenez's return to cost Vaughn too many at-bats. The rookie has hit safely in six straight contests, going 10-for-21 with a home run, four doubles and five RBI.

Vaughn started in left field and went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 3-1 win over Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn has been playing regularly in left field, but that's about to change with Monday's pending return of Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) from the 60-day injured list. Vaughn, whose bat was quiet early in the season, is swinging the bat much better recently, slashing .351/.373/.636 over the last 22 games. White Sox manager Tony La Russa told Andrew Wagner of MLB.com that he doesn't believe Jimenez's return would "take at-bats away from" Vaughn, which likely means he'll be the primary designated hitter.

Vaughn went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 7-1 loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old prevented the White Sox from being shut out when he launched an eighth-inning solo shot to center field off Milwaukee reliever Hunter Strickland. Vaughn has gone 6-for-9 with a homer, two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored across his last three games. He's slashing .255/.318/.453 with 11 long balls, 29 RBI, 41 runs scored and 20 doubles through 299 plate appearances.

Vaughn entered Tuesday's game as a pinch hitter and singled in his lone plate appearance during a 9-5 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The Twins grabbed the lead in the top half of the eighth inning, but it was short-lived as Vaughn, pinch-hitting for Seby Zavala, plated Adam Engel with the tying run before the White Sox tacked on four more scores in the frame. It was just Vaughn's second hit in 18 at-bats since returning from the All-Star break.

Vaughn is not starting Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four total RBI in Sunday's win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn went deep in the fourth inning with a solo shot and then added a three-run blast off Cole Sulser in the sixth, giving him 10 long balls on the season. The first baseman snapped a drought of seven games without a homer and has now quietly assembled a three-game hitting streak, with two multi-hit games in the process.

Vaughn isn't starting Wednesday against Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn had started in each of the last nine games, and he recorded hits in seven of those appearances. The 23-year-old hit .355 with two home runs, two doubles, seven runs and five RBI during that time, but he'll get a breather while Billy Hamilton starts in left field and bats eighth.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Friday's 8-2 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn's first hit of the game came in the seventh inning when he doubled and scored on a Danny Mendick sacrifice fly. The 23-year-old Vaughn added a solo shot as part of Chicago's five-run ninth inning. He's gone 8-for-13 with two homers, five RBI and six runs scored across his last four games. The sudden surge lifted his slash line to .246/.317/.436 with eight home runs, 22 RBI, 34 runs scored and a stolen bases through 240 plate appearances. He's seen everyday action in left field since Jake Lamb (quadriceps) was placed on the injured list.

Vaughn moved from left field to third base after Yoan Moncada (hand) was removed from Thursday's game against the Twins in the fourth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn handled the assignment cleanly for four innings before he was replaced by Leury Garcia (undisclosed) in the eighth. Garcia had been scratched from the original starting lineup due to an undisclosed injury; that appears to be the reason why he wasn't brought in initially to replace Moncada. Instead, Vaughn, a first baseman that's been converted to left field, played third base for the first time in the majors. The move, however, appears to be a temporary one. That Garcia was well enough to enter the game suggests the undisclosed injury is not serious, and the White Sox are considering calling up Jake Burger, a natural third baseman.
