Suarez (4-7) was saddled with his seventh loss after giving up eight runs on 10 hits with two walks and five strikeouts over five innings Saturday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez's night got off to a rough start when the Diamondbacks posted a five spot in the first inning. The rookie settled down with three scoreless frames following the disastrous start, but he was knocked out of the game after allowing another three runs in the fifth. Suarez wasn't fooling many hitters in this one, inducing just nine swinging strikes in a 92-pitch outing. The 25-year-old has been charged with 19 earned runs over his last four starts, watching his ERA balloon from 3.75 to 4.60 in the process. Suarez will look to turn things around in a home start against the Pirates next Friday.

Suarez allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over 5.2 innings in Tuesday's win over the Mariners. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez entered the sixth inning in line for the win, but after allowing the game-tying run to reach on a two-out walk he was lifted and saw the run come around to score against the bullpen. Though he was able to limit the damage on the scoreboard, the lefty didn't have his best stuff Tuesday as he induced just five swinging strikes en route to a season-low one punchout. He'll take a 3.99 ERA into Sunday's home start against the Brewers.

Suarez (3-5) took the loss despite allowing just one run on five hits with six strikeouts through seven innings Wednesday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
It was a brilliant outing for Suarez, and at Coors Field to boot. His only mistake was a seventh inning home run by Chris Ianetta, which would wind up as the only run of the game. Suarez used 10 groundball outs to get through seven innings with just 89 pitches -- he probably could have pitched the eighth had the Giants not opted for a pinch hitter in the top half of the frame. Suarez hasn't allowed more than two runs since June 8 against Washington and will take a 3.92 ERA into his next start Monday against the Cubs.

Suarez held Miami to two runs on five hits and a walk with seven strikeouts through 6.1 innings but still took a no-decision Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez was extremely efficient, as he needed just 79 pitches to get 19 outs. This was just the third time all season Suarez has pitched into the seventh, though. and as soon as Suarez showed a single sign of shakiness -- he walked Lewis Brinson with one out and nobody on -- Suarez was removed for Sam Dyson. Still, Suarez hasn't shown an ability to keep the ball in the yard against teams not named the Marlins, as he gave up eight home runs in nine starts before these past two starts against Miami. He'll carry a 4.70 ERA into his next outing Saturday, another favorable matchup at home against the Padres.

Suarez didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's loss to the Marlins, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez retired the first eight batters he faced, but he ran into trouble in the fourth inning after a walk and a trio of singles plated two. The lefty has worked to a 3.31 ERA in June, lowering his mark on the year to 4.92. He'll draw the Marlins again in a rematch Monday, this time in San Francisco.

Suarez (1-4) allowed five runs on seven hits in four innings Tuesday, striking out two and walking two in a loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez wasn't locating his pitches very effectively in Tuesday's outing, throwing just 37 of 68 pitches for strikes. Over his last three starts, Suarez has allowed 14 earned runs across 14 innings while striking out 12 and walking five. The left-hander now carries a 5.68 ERA, with opponents hitting .303 off him. His next start will be a matchup with the Rockies in Denver.

Suarez (1-3) took the loss Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The bulk of the damage was done in the first inning, as Suarez allowed two singles, a double and a home run to find himself down 4-0 before recording his first out. All things considered, he actually recovered fairly well to get through six innings while allowing only one unearned run after the first, but it was too late at that point. The lefty has allowed 10 runs (nine earned) over 10 innings in his last two starts and has seen his ERA jump from 3.06 to 4.88 as a result. He'll look to right the ship Tuesday in Houston.

Suarez (1-2) took the loss against the Pirates on Friday, giving up five runs on seven hits and two walks over four innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Sterling Marte and Jose Osuna both took the left-hander deep in this one, and despite an impressive 23:4 K:BB through his first 21.2 big-league innings, Suarez's 4.57 ERA can't be considered unlucky given his 2.1 HR/9. He'll look for a better outcome Wednesday at home against the Reds.

Suarez will make his next start in Sunday's series finale with the Braves, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez originally lined up to take the hill Monday, but he'll slide up a day to allow Jeff Samardzija to get a bit more rest after missing the beginning portion of the season. Suarez will now be in line for a two-start week after a stellar showing in Tuesday's contest. He'll take on the Braves in a road matchup, potentially opposite Atlanta youngster Mike Soroka.

Suarez was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento prior to Tuesday's game against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
As planned, Suarez was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento and is set to take the mound Tuesday night. Suarez has started one game for the big club this season, which came against the Diamondbacks. Over 5.1 innings he surrendered four runs on four hits, two of which were home runs.
