Rosario went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Saturday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Rosario was in the lineup for the seventh straight game, four of which have come against lefties. He's recorded multiple hits in five of those contests, producing two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored. Rosario has also recorded a stolen base in consecutive games, giving him a total of three on the season. Though the Rays initially envisioned Rosario in a small-side platoon role, he's emerging as an everyday player while playing primarily in right field against lefties and second base against righties.

Rosario went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored Wednesday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Rosario generated his second homer of the campaign -- each coming in the past four games -- tagging Hunter Strickland for a two-run shot in the eighth inning to bring the Rays to within one run. The outing marked Rosario's fourth multi-hit performance of his last five games, a stretch in which he's batting .455 with six RBI and four runs scored.

Rosario went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Rosario went deep off Blake Snell as part of the Rays' three-run first inning. It was Rosario's first home run with Tampa Bay and he produced his second consecutive multi-hit game. While he's not getting full playing time, the 28-year-old is slashing .318/.333/.477 with five extra-base hits and six RBI through 45 plate appearances.

Rosario is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rosario will hit the bench after he started each of the last four games -- three in right field, one at shortstop -- while going 2-for-15 with a double, a walk and an RBI. The righty-hitting Rosario should be a mainstay in the lineup versus left-handed pitching, but he'll occasionally mix into the starting nine against righties, too. Two of his four starts to date have come versus right-handed pitching.

Rosario went 0-for-3 with a walk Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Rosario wasn't in the starting lineup for the Rays' first two games but has since made consecutive starts in right field -- one of which came against a lefty. He's gone a combined 2-for-7 with a walk in that span, also collecting a double and an RBI. So long as Josh Lowe (oblique) and Jonny DeLuca (hand) are sidelined, Rosario should be locked into a short-side platoon role while also picking up occasional starts against righties.

Rosario could see more time in the outfield as a result of Jonny DeLuca's (hand) absence, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeLuca is projected to miss the first couple weeks of the regular season, while Josh Lowe (hip) is also currently sidelined. Even if Lowe returns, there's a potential for at-bats against left-handed pitchers to be available in right field. As a right-handed hitter, Rosario is arguably a better fit than lefty Richie Palacios.

Rays president of baseball operations Erik Neander said Tuesday that the plan is to play Rosario some at both middle infield positions as well as the corner outfield spots, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neander also mentioned Rosario's ability to hit left-handed pitching, and there's a good chance much of the 28-year-old's playing time ultimately comes against southpaws. Jose Caballero is still expected to open the season as Tampa Bay's primary shortstop.

Rosario signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Rays on Tuesday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a good fit for Rosario, who, with a career .298/.339/.467 batting line against left-handed pitching, should see plenty of action in the middle infield spots versus southpaws. The 28-year-old has slashed only .263/.296/.374 in his career against right-handers and is a poor defender, so Tampa Bay figures to use him sparingly versus same-handed pitchers.

Rosario isn't on the Dodgers' roster for their NLDS matchup against Arizona, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After slashing .256/.301/.408 across 133 plate appearances since joining the Dodgers, Rosario will be inactive to begin Los Angeles' postseason run. Kolten Wong secured a spot on the roster and looks to be in position to serve as a reserve infielder against the D-backs.

Rosario went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
The light-hitting Rosario had a chance at a cycle, but grounded out in the eighth inning. Prior to Sunday, he'd gone 7-for-26 (.269) over 12 games in September, playing in a part-time role. He's hit .255 with the Dodgers, and he's at a .263/.305/.383 slash line with six home runs, 56 RBI, 67 runs scored, 14 steals, 25 doubles and eight triples over 134 contests this season when accounting for his time with the Guardians. If the Dodgers opt to rest Mookie Betts or Miguel Rojas more often down the stretch, Rosario could see an uptick in playing time.
