Presley (concussion) was activated from the disabled list prior to Wednesday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Presley has been out since June 22 after suffering a concussion due to a crash with the center field wall in Seattle. In a corresponding move, the team designated Matt den Dekker for assignment. Presley will likely slide back into his role in center field, but may get a couple days off here and there while he recovers going into the All-Star break.

Presley (concussion) was cleared Tuesday to resume baseball activities, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Presley is no longer under the MLB's concussion protocol and is eligible to return from the 10-day disabled list, the Tigers could ask him to play in a couple of rehab games before activating him. The 31-year-old had been occupying the larger side of a platoon in center field with Mikie Mahtook prior to hitting the DL, but with Mahtook producing well since settling into a full-time role, it's unclear if Presley will retain the top spot on the depth chart once he returns.

Presley was transferred Sunday from the 7-day disabled list to the 10-day DL, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Presley's absence had extended past seven days, so the Tigers decided opted to move him to the 10-day DL in a procedural move. The outfielder has yet to pass through all phases of the concussion protocol and will likely require a rehab assignment before being activated, so it seems rather unlikely that he'll rejoin the Tigers prior to the All-Star break.

Presley will miss a couple more days on the concussion DL, Evan Woodbery of MLive Media Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Presley is eligible to return from the disabled list prior to Detroit's game Friday, but the outfielder is still feeling the affects of his wall crash during last Thursday's contest. Mikie Mahtook has been the main beneficiary of Presley's absence, as he continues to start in center for Thursday's afternoon matchup with the Royals. Presley could return to the team by the end of the weekend series against Cleveland, but will likely come back after the team's scheduled off day Monday.

EDGE Analysis
Presley will land on the DL following his crash with the wall during Thursday's game. In his place, the team has recalled outfielder Matt den Dekker from Triple-A Toledo while Presley recovers.

Presley underwent concussion tests Thursday after crashing into the center field wall, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCosky speculated that there'd be some roster movement coming Friday, which may mean those examinations revealed that Presley indeed has a concussion. Perhaps it'll mean JaCoby Jones will resurface with the big club if Presley has to miss time.

Presley is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With southpaw James Paxton taking the mound for the Mariners, Presley will head to the bench for a second straight contest. As has been the case against most lefty starters, Mikie Mahtook will take over for Presley in center field.

Presley is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.

Presley is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Since dropping Tyler Collins from the 40-man roster in late May, the Tigers have been running out a three-headed monster of Presley, Andrew Romine and Mikie Mahtook in center field. Mahtook will serve as the primary options against left-handed pitching, while Romine and Presley share the workload against right-handers, cutting into the value of all three players. Presley, who started Tuesday, with thus give way to Romine on Wednesday, even with the Diamondbacks bringing another righty (Taijuan Walker) to the hill.

Presley is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Although Presley will sit for the second straight game, this is simply a platoon decision with another southpaw on the mound in Brian Johnson. Mikie Mahtook will man center field Friday while batting seventh in the order. With left-handers Chris Sale and Drew Pomeranz on deck for Saturday and Sunday, Presley may not see as much time on the field this series.
