Dickerson went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, two RBI and a run in Thursday's 6-0 victory over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old ended Dodgers starter Hyun-Jin Ryu's night with a triple to deep right in the fifth that plated Yangervis Solarte and Derek Norris, giving him five RBI over the last five contests. Dickerson has also hit safely in four of the last five games, a stretch that's included a pair of doubles and Thursday's three-bagger.

Dickerson was recalled by the Padres on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
With Jon Jay (forearm) landing on the disabled list Tuesday, Dickerson was recalled to add some depth to the Padres' outfield. Dickerson leads the Pacific Coast League in both average (.382) and OPS (1.047) in 217 at-bats with El Paso this season. However, he did struggle a bit in his short stint with the big league club earlier in the season, slashing .200/.200/.500 in 10 at-bats.

Dickerson has hit five home runs and 16 RBI in 11 games since returning to Triple-A El Paso.
EDGE Analysis
Dickerson's fantastic play following his return from San Diego has resulted in his batting average and slugging percentage shooting up to .411 and .696 respectively. If his dominance at the plate continues, the Padres may very well see the merit in giving Dickerson another shot in the MLB. During his brief eight game appearance with the Padres this season, Dickerson went just 2-for-10 (albeit with a home run). However, San Diego's league worst batting average of .221 and lack of quality outfield depth could justify giving Dickerson another opportunity to prove his value in the show.

Dickerson was optioned to Triple-A El Paso by the Padres on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Padres recalled Leonel Campos from Triple-A, and subsequently optioned Dickerson as a result. Dickerson mainly served a pinch-hitting role for the Padres, and only started one game. He went 2-for-10 with one home run and for RBI on the season before being optioned.

The Padres recalled Dickerson from Triple-A El Paso on Monday, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although the Padres' outfield is healthy at the moment, Dickerson has arrived in San Diego to provide additional depth. In 22 games with El Paso this season, he's constructed a .352/.405/.549 slash line with three homers, 13 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 71 at-bats.

The Padres optioned Dickerson to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
In the competition for a spot as a reserve outfielder and first baseman, Dickerson didn't distinguish himself this spring, batting .111/.333/.111 with two RBI, two runs, and three strikeouts versus four walks in 18 at-bats. He'll now serve as organizational depth at Triple-A.

Dickerson (hip) is officially done for the 2015 season.
EDGE Analysis
Considering he hadn't played in a long time, it's not a huge surprise that he's not going to play again. The Padres have a large number of injuries in the outfield, making it a bit unclear what alignment they will go with the rest of the way.

Dickerson has been limited to pinch-hitting duties since his Sept. 2 call-up due to a tweaked hip, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dickerson was able to run the bases at about 85 percent Wednesday, so it sounds like the 25-year-old will be able to return to the field within the next few days. With Yonder Alonso (back) expected to be shut down for the season, Dickerson could be in for semi-regular at-bats at first base once his hip heals up.

Dickerson was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This will be his second stint with the Padres this season, but this time around he should stay up for the rest of the campaign. Yonder Alonso left Tuesday's game with lower-back tightness, so it would not be surprising if Dickerson got the start at first base Wednesday. He has displayed a good ability to make contact, but may not have the requisite power to be an everyday starter in the big leagues.

Dickerson was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday. In many ways Dickerson resembles the Padres' current first baseman, Yonder Alonso, in his lack of fantasy appeal. He may hit enough to have a career in the big leagues, but it is unlikely that he ever turns into a significant power threat at a position where power is often a prerequisite.
