Dickerson (hip) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
An outfield collision Friday left Dickerson with a bruised hip and resulted in a three-game absence, but he will return Tuesday to face right-hander Zach Davies. Dickerson has been excellent since his return to the majors in late June, going 22-for-75 (.293 average) with five homers, 13 RBI and seven strikeouts. He's making contact at an 86.8 percent clip with the big club this year (11.1 percent strikeout rate).

Dickerson (hip) plans to take batting practice Monday, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
In addition to taking batting practice, Padres manager Andy Green said that Dickerson could be used as a substitute for Monday's contest. If all goes well, it appears that Dickerson could return before the week is over. Before being injured, Dickerson had been going on a tear, hitting .391 with four home runs over seven games.

Dickerson (hip) is expected to avoid the disabled list, but will also require several more days before a potential return to the lineup.
EDGE Analysis
Dickerson is still dealing with the effects of a bruised right hip, having skipped the past two games (Sunday included) because of it. More on his status should arise as he nears a return.

Dickerson (hip) is out of the lineup for Sunday's contest against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
San Diego will continue to be careful with Dickerson and have him sit out for the second day in a row. At this point in time, there's no indication as to when Dickerson will return to the lineup, but there's no reason to believe that he's suffered a serious injury. Alexi Amarista will cover left field and bat second during Dickerson's absence.

Dickerson (hip) is not in the lineup Saturday against the Reds, Bill Center of Padres.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dickerson was lifted from Friday's game after a collision in the outfield with teammate Travis Jankowski left him with a concussion. While Dickerson was able to walk off the field under his own power, the Padres will exercise caution and hold Dickerson out for at least a day. San Diego will go with an outfield alignment of Jankowski in center, Alexei Amarista in left and Matt Kemp in right Saturday.

After leaving Friday's game following an outfield collision, Dickerson has been diagnosed with a right hip contusion.
EDGE Analysis
While Dickerson did not make it out of the first inning in Friday's game, he does not appear to be dealing with a serious setback at first glance. It's not clear if the injury will force Dickerson to miss any further action, but that will become clear when the Padres release their lineup several hours prior to their next game Saturday.

Dickerson went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in the Padres' 7-6, 12-inning loss at the hands of the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Tuesday's sixth inning blast makes it three straight days with a homer for Dickerson, who seems determined to hold onto regular playing time following the departure of Melvin Upton Jr. This recent three-game tear raised Dickerson's batting line to .288/.329/.550, although he has just 80 at-bats on the season. Even after the Melvin Upton Jr, the Padres organization still overstocked with outfield talent, with Manuel Margot and Hunter Renfroe tearing up the Triple-A Pacific Coast League. Still, it would be hard to imagine Dickerson losing playing time if he continues anything close to his recent pace at the plate.

Dickerson went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder has started each of the past two days, collecting six hits, two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored in the process. Dickerson had been struggling at the dish after the All-Star break, but these two games could be the start of a turnaround for the lefty. He's now hitting .280 with four home runs over 75 Major League at-bats this season.

EDGE Analysis
