Reed is not in Monday's lineup against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
Reed will head to the bench for the third time in the last four games, as he's mired in an 0-for-12 slump over his last four appearances, including a three strikeout showing Sunday. Marwin Gonzalez will get the start at first base in his place Monday and bat seventh.

Reed is out of the lineup Friday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Marwin Gonzalez will start at first as Reed gets the night off. Reed's hitting has been subpar lately, as he's gone just 4-for-22 over the last seven games. However, he's managed to post a .333 on-base percentage over that time, as he owns a fantastic 13 percent walk rate for the year.

Reed went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI on Thursday against Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a tough go of it for Reed to start his Astros' career. The 23-year-old is batting under .200 in his first 94 plate appearances, and the power he was lauded for in the minors has yet to transfer to the major leagues. Reed will need to start putting more balls in the seats and cut down on his strikeout rate (35.1 percent) in order to be considered in most fantasy formats.

Reed is out of the lineup for Thursday's second game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Reed was in the DH spot for the first game, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored in the win over Minnesota. He will spend the second game on the bench, as Jose Altuve takes over at DH while Tyler White mans first.

Reed, who was recalled from the minors on Tuesday, went 0-for-4 with a strikeout during Houston's 2-1 loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Reed carried a lot of hype in spring training, but ultimately lost the Astros' first base competition to Tyler White and has yet to make an impact in 18 games with the big league club this season. The 23-year-old figures to platoon with White at first base while Luis Valbuena (hamstring) is on the DL. Expect him to start Wednesday when the Astros square off against right-hander Marco Estrada, but sit Thursday against lefty J.A. Happ.

Reed was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Reed has been on fire recently for Fresno, batting .447 with 11 runs and 14 RBI over his last 10 games and was rewarded with a promotion to the big leagues Tuesday. The six-foot-four, 275-pound first baseman has been an RBI machine in the minors and will now look to translate that production to the majors.

Reed has been optioned to Triple-A Fresno, Astros beat reporter Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
There is no word on the subsequent move by Houston, but it looks to have nothing to do with Alex Bregman. In his short 17-game stint with the Astros, Reed is hitting .156/.250/.289 with two home runs in 45 at-bats. Reed will head back to Fresno where he was hitting .266/.245/.509 with 11 home runs and 36 RBI in 222 at-bats.

Reed is not in Tuesday's lineup against the A's, Angel Verdejo Jr. of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reed went 0-for-4 during Monday's game against Oakland and will go back to the bench for Tuesday's contest. The Astros will start Marwin Gonzalez at first and Carlos Gomez in the DH spot, facing southpaw Dillon Overton. Reed has been on the bench when the club faces left-handers, and this trend will continue Tuesday.

Reed went 0-for-4 during Monday's 7-4 loss to Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Reed was one of two Houston starters to be held without a hit in the game. He'll likely return to the bench for Tuesday's tilt with southpaw Dillon Overton on the hill for the A's.

Reed is back in the lineup for Monday's game against Oakland, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reed has been sitting against left-handers, but will get the nod at DH against Oakland righty Kendall Graveman. The Astros are rich in first base and DH options, so they will likely play matchups with Reed, Evan Gattis, Marwin Gonzalez et al the rest of the way.
