Wainwright returned on Monday for the first time since May 13 and allowed seven hits (two homers) and four earned runs in five innings in a no-decision against the Pirates. The veteran right-hander has a 4.70 ERA on the year and just hasn't been effective for fantasy owners. You'll want to avoid him in a tough matchup against the contending Dodgers this weekend.

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (elbow) will make a rehab start on Sunday in Memphis. Wainwright is getting stretched out to see if he can return as a starter. He is aiming to throw four innings on Sunday. Wainwright could return to the Cardinals as a starting pitcher, but a relief role seems more likely this season. It's highly doubtful that Wainwright has any fantasy value this season.
