I would like to have snaps played as a scoring category. By giving points to cornerbacks for played snaps and subtracting them for targets and allowed catches it might be possible to display value for shutdown Corners.
I don't know how difficult it is to implement new categories, but it would be huge if it gets done for this season. It's the missing piece to an absolute advanced idp scoring format.
At the moment i just give 10 Points to all CB's at the start of the game and substract points for targets and catches, which works OK. The main problem ist that some nickel corners play significant less snaps than starters. These players see less targets just because of fewer playing time not because they are avoided by the opposing QB. However this is not reflected by their fantasy Points. The only way to improve the system is to count snaps against targets and catches.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll be sure this is captured for when we scope new scoring categories to add.

It might be better to give an extra point bonus to CB at a lower tackle number to get around that problem.

Thank you for the suggestion anyway.
