Hi,

We are starting a dynasty league and are thinking about using Fleaflicker instead of ESPN like we have for previous redraft leagues. I'm setting up the league, and there are several settings ESPN has available that Fleaflicker does not. I was wondering if there's any chance any of these are in process for next year or at least being discussed/worked on:

FAAB Waivers - ESPN allows me to set the time of day I want FAAB waivers to process at. Fleaflicker waivers apparently process at 5 AM - 8 AM Eastern time, which is incredibly early for me (I'm on Pacific time), but is honestly incredibly early for everyone. My ESPN FAAB waivers process at 10 PM Eastern time and I was hoping to set it at the same setting for this league.

Add/Drops - ESPN has a setting I think is great: if a player is picked up and then dropped before 24 hours have passed, that player does not pass through waivers, but instead goes right back to free agency. This seems like a better way to prevent people from playing keepaway from their opponent with free agents than locking the player a day before game time. I usually drop my kicker each week and pick up a new one near game time, but I sometimes change my mind on which kicker I want, and if they lock I wouldn't have that option. This could also screw me if the kicker I pick up then gets hurt in warmups.

Number of keepers - The max appears to be 15. We are using a dynasty format that allows a person to keep as many players as they can fit under their salary cap. Is there a reason I cannot set this to the same size as my roster size (24)?

Tiebreakers - There are disappointingly few options available for both matchup tiebreakers and playoff tiebreakers. We were hoping for our matchup tiebreakers to be, in order: starting QB points, highest starting non-QB points, leave it as a tie, but I can't even really get close to simulating this.

Anyway, I'm sure there are other things, but these are the main ones. Thanks for your help...obviously I'm not expecting this site to be catered to just me, but these seem like settings others might like to be able to adjust as well.

You can currently keep 40 players. As for tiebreakers, if your tiebreaker is not automatically supported by the software, the Commish can always reseed.

What about the implementation and enforcement of salary caps?

Salary cap is not here yet, but they hope to have it implemented this year. They are saying nothing more than that on the issue. Flea is not giving timetables on any changes.

I remember reading in these forums that Flea gave a timetable of the start of the 2014 season for the introduction of the new DF positions but the have since reneagued on that also. That particular promise dates back to to 2012 - poss even earlier - and they still havent done it and now they are not promising anything on its introduction.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

This was an important issue on here as it affects all dynasty leagues but it seems to me that Flea's word is much like Roddy White's atm! :)

Splitting IDPs up is something we'd love to have. It is a bit complicated to switch it on the back-end right now, though. We are looking into alternatives, but can't promise on the date of availability. It's listed quite high though on the agenda, and we never have lost sight of it. We are working on many enhancements for the site and always keep your suggestions into high regard (even though sometimes we don't always get a chance to reply or incorporate them). We'll never stop working to make this the best site it can be.
