My keeper league has discussed adding a Rookie Bench for next season. Basically, we would be allocating 3 to 5 bench slots for rookies that you use a draft pick on. They would be extra slots beyond our current bench and IR slots. The idea is to be able to hold on to rookies for a few years and not be afraid to use a draft pick on them. (Prime example would have been drafting Aaron Rodgers or if the Colts draft Luck this year) I can monitor this on my own, but it would be alot easier if FleaFlicker could add it as an option similar to the structure of the current IR slot system. Just an idea, thanks.
For now, you would have to set your IR to healthy and place those players there. Someone will have to monitor IR activity to prevent anyone from trying to take advantage of the reduced setting. We do a five-man practice squad with a two-man IR in one league, and I monitor IR and PS for the Commish.
