When I view weekly predictions, and scoring predictions from "optimum" lineups, players that are out due to injury are predicted to get points. If they are out, then they should be excluded from being predicted to score.
We don't correct these on Sundays. It's possible in the future we may, but projected points are usually not touched after Saturday night. It's a good suggestion, we'll take it into consideration, but it's not something imminently important, but we'll work on it.
