I would like to know if there is anyway to get an IR list? As it is now I have 2 empty spots on every team just for injuries, only problem is that is to hard to make sure the player is really hurt.

Thanx for any and all help.

It's implemented but still being tested. Expect it to be released within a week.

I guess I'm a bit confused. When a player is on IR, why not just drop him and add another player in his place?

Because if it's a great player that you don't want to drop and make available to everyone, put him on IR for a few weeks so he stays on your roster.

Why not just add 2 bench spots instead? The whole purpose of IR is that the player is done for the year...

Dude, if you don't like it don't use it. But other people like and have wanted it for a while.

It's not that I don't like it, I just don't understand it. I am attempting to grasp the concept of it instead of adding bench players

The concept is that you're only allowed to use the spot or spots if you have a player you want to keep that will be unable to play for an extended period. If you just add bench spots, teams just stockpile players and there is no one out there in the free agent pool. So it adds a little bit of flexibility in case of a major injury without compromising the free agent pool. Make sense?

Can anyone be put on IR or are their real life requirements?

They must be on the NFL "injured list". But I'm not sure how that works since some teams list EVERY player as injured *cough*

Yeah, like Tom Brady was on the list every week last season
