Our draft has half of the guys with laptops logged in to the live draft room and the other half that like to use just a magazine and draft from that. I still need to enter their draft picks into the draft room for them, but if they aren't logged in, the computer tries to autopick for them. I can pause while they make their pick, but I've only got 60 minutes of cumulative pause.
Is there any way I can let the logged in owners make their pick and do a manual draft pick as commissioner for those not logged in without having to pause or worry about autopick?
When the commish hits pause within the first 5 seconds of the live draft, the draft will pause on the user on the clock. The commish can then highlight his player selection and draft the player for the user on the clock.
Last year it was NOT possible. We had 3(?) Owners drafting online. The rest of us were at my Place.
We made that 5min Pauses the "Picklength". Somewhere around Round 3 I was no longer able to Pause the Draft!
Luckily we had two more Laptops here. So that gave us some time after we locked in some of the guys. Till we managed to do that, I had to hit the Undo Button a 1000 times. ;-)
So IMO it is not possible to Draft Part online/part offline.
That's the reason we do it completly offline this year. That new cheat will definitivly help, but I hope you can heps us offline Drafters a little more. (But I opened another Thread for that Topic.)
Right, you only have 60 minutes of cumulative draft time, but you may pause it to find the player and pick. We alternatively do support the e-mail draft and you can also import drafts as well.
Again, you CAN draft half on-line/half off-line. Just see my suggestion below. Simply use the "slow" e-mail draft function. For those off-line YOU draft for them while those on-line can draft when their turn arises.

Yes there's now a commish draft feature in private leagues.

How does this work and what are the features of it?

We did that last year, but as Justin mentioned, at one point it was no longer possible to pause the draft. Has that changed?

You can still pause the draft as commish

Thanks about the cheat sheet.
