IT would be tough to keep up on that I would think. Namely because a lot of them play more than one position. Different defenses with a 4-3, 3-4 MLB/ILB/OLB A lot of DBs have played both. S can play both spots. DL plays both, or all 3. A lot of DTs line up outside sometimes.
I guess having S and DE is a bit more important due to the stats those positions get, but most of the time you have to look at a depth chart anyways and read some team notes just to make sure that is their actual job. Stats pretty much tell the story. Sacks is a DE, or an OLB that blitzes. A lot of tackles as a DB is gonna be a S. A lot of PDs as a CB means you suck and you instill no fear...haha

It would be great if players had more specific positions on their player cards.
SS, FS, CB, DE, NT, DT, MLB, OLB.
