Fleaflicker has come a long way in just three and a half years. During that time I was possessed by a single (and often unhealthy) obsession—making the best fantasy football site. My decision to sell was made with this goal in mind.
AOL and I share the same vision for expanding the site. Integrating with AOL sports will improve Fleaflicker immeasurably. (For example, FanHouse blogs provide the most insightful sports commentary on the Internet; their content will ultimately be integrated into Fleaflicker.)
The bottom line is this: I made this decision because I am certain it will improve the game for all Fleaflicker users.
does anyone else feel like know matter where we post ,we the consumer are the only ones reading this. If something doesnt happen soon may have to find another site..any ideas...
I've already starting looking for potential replacement sites. Right now I'm leaning towards myfantasyleague. Its not free, but its a nice site. We're falling on deaf ears here.
AOL should have told us before they made this change. We could have backed up our teams and scoring systems in case we have to move, right now we are at the mercy of FF. I hope they pull through. NFL.COM has a free fantasy football site that looks ok.
they have great live scoring and player updates,but hang with Ori and this site for awhile, since he merged with AOL I think we will see all this come to FF before kick-off, once again just hang in there!!!
