So Rodgers has been somewhat of a letdown for me so far this year. Put up horrible numbers for me against the Bears. He has the Seahawks who have been really good against the pass this year.

My other choice is Ryan who has played better so far but is also up against a pretty good defense.

So any opinions on who to put in?

MrHoppe Sun 9/23/12 7:34 PM

Ryan is a great choice. He has been putting up massive points consistently.

Mayhem22 Sat 9/29/12 2:10 PM

yeah I am thinking about switching cuz Rodgers hasnt been himself today.

MrHoppe Sat 9/29/12 4:44 PM

Yeah , Rodgers isn't always a consistent player in that respect and I feel like he can easily put up massive points one day and then just a few another. Ryan is more consistent this season and your better choice

LAst year I had Rodgers and he only had 1 game with less than 30 points. I wouldnt call him inconsistent, but this year he has just been off.

MrHoppe Sun 9/30/12 2:55 PM

30 points already and only 5 minutes into the 3rd

He has 24 in my league right now, which is weird because we setup the rules for more points. 215 yards and 3 TDs should be more than 24 i would think lol

I would have never been in this situation, unless it's a 4 team league? As soon as I realized, which was before the season started for me, that I had 2 top 5 QB's in fantasy, I would have traded the bigger name, Rodgers and gotten back a RB1 and maybe even a WR2 to throw in as well. Does you no good to have Rodgers or Ryan's points sitting on your bench.

Mayhem22 Sun 10/7/12 3:20 AM

I mean when Rodgers goes on bye, I'll have Ryan as a backup or vice versa. I have Frank Gore at RB. Andre Johnson, Brian Hartline and Brandon Lloyd at WR, Olsen at TE.

Riggs44R Sun 10/7/12 10:55 AM

That's perfect, trade Rodgers after his next big game for a RB, a young one, another starter, you could also use a WR and a better TE. makes no sense to have one of those QB's sitting on your bench all season

Silly_Billy Tue 10/9/12 9:56 AM

It does when you don't plan on using one anyway just to keep other teams from getting those points???? Gotta think outside the box!!! Anybody who would have either of those QB's would have them in there lineup no matter what??? Force them to use what they have .... not more points.

Riggs44R Tue 10/9/12 1:45 PM

but you can improve on your team and get a starting RB1 for Rodgers. I've never in 8-10 years of Fantasy worried about other teams in my league, just trying to score the most points for my team

Mayhem22 Tue 10/9/12 7:51 PM

Well I've got a good RB in Frank Gore and I have 2 WR and a third WR in my flex spot

Riggs44R Wed 10/10/12 12:17 AM

Mayhem, you don't get it. Think about it, you have Rodgers and "Gore" in your other league and you're 0-4 right? You're 4-1 in the league you're talking about only because you have Ryan. Trade Rodgers to a team that needs a QB and you'll have that 2nd RB to start at your flex because Floyd, Roberts and even Andre are all hit n miss!

Ask Monday morning QB for Rivers and Bradshaw for Rodgers or Waterloo Tidalwaves for Bradford/Ridley/Lance Moore(he'll be back) or ask Hardknox PLayaz for Dalton/Murray/Maclin. If Gore goes down, you're screwed, you ONLY have Bolden to start and in a 12 team league, you're not finding RB's on the waiver wire but then again your league seems weird! A bunch of teams with 3 TE's and 2 K's and 2 and 3 defenses
