I'm starting a 10 team full dynasty keeper on Fleaflicker. We Have been doing for 7 years. We have a 24 man roster, and keep all. How would I set it up so we could trade future picks? We do a draft offline, 4 rounds. Can I enter the picks that each person has for next year? We always did a draft aND then turned in our roster after we made cuts. It's a little tricky, any help would be appreciated.
"How would I set it up so we could trade future picks?"
First, you'll need to make sure that you're set at 24 keepers in your league's keeper settings. Once that is done, then you'll go into "Settings > Edit Rosters" and manually add each teams players to their teams. To do this, simply type their names at the top and then click on them. Shouldn't take you too long, and you can do all of this in one big swoop. Once you're done, make sure that "These are complete rosters for this season" is chosen, and click on "Save". The future picks will automatically show at the very top of the page in a "Picks" tab when you got to each team's page".
"We do a draft offline, 4 rounds. Can I enter the picks that each person has for next year?"
After the above steps are taken, go back into "Settings > Edit Rosters" and then choose "These are complete rosters for the season, but still draft". Click on "Save", and then go to the league homepage. The "Draft" tab at the top will then show up and show you the draft order, etc.
Here's my recommendation. This is also what I do for my 12-team dynasty league:
Create a Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel file to keep up with the draft order each year (I'll post a screenshot of an example of mine below and how I format it". Click on the "Draft" tab at the top of the league homepage and copy down the correct draft order for your rookie draft. Then, edit your Google Sheet or Excel file to show the correct draft order. Once you have created the full 4-round draft order via Sheet or Excel, you will need to then open up trades and Free Agency. To do this, go back to "Settings > Edit Rosters", and then make sure "These are complete rosters for the season" is selected, and hit "Save". That will remove the "Draft" tab from the top, and thus, open free agency and trading for everyone. (NOTE: Whenever you need to go back and look at the draft order, you will have to change the settings at the bottom like I just explained to see the draft order, etc. Once you're through with it, you'll have to change it back to "Complete rosters" at the bottom to once again unlock trades and FA.
Here is a screenshot of what my league's final draft order for my dynasty league looked like last year after the draft's completion (6 rounds). I've found this is the best way to do it, because each time the draft order changes, you can simply edit the Spreadsheet accordingly. During the draft, after each person makes their draft selection, you can also add the players' names next to the owners name that took them. Also, after the draft, just go back to Settings > Edit Rosters, and add each rookie to each players' team.
