The question I have is simple: Is it time to drop Matt Ryan as a back-up QB and get someone else?

Who knows? Haha. Really, I'm not sure it matters much, but he's been so bad lately, pulling in less than 10 points the last two/three weeks, I'm considering dumping him. He is my back-up behind Matthew Stafford. Really, the only other options are Nick Foles, Terelle Pryor, Ryan Tannehill, Case Keenum, and Mike Glennon. All of which, in a normal year, probably wouldn't touch Ryan, but this year is not like other years. I'm just wondering out loud if I should take a chance on any of these guys, or ride it out with Ryan considering he's on my bench. The only way any of them would be starting is if Stafford got injured.

I would take tannehill he's consistent, or keenum it looks like he has taken over at Houston. foles you never know when the eagles will pull him in favor of vick again once vick is healthy. pryor is getting banged up way too much. and glennon still hasn't showed much of what he can do. if your looking for a short term back up go with foles.

I think you're right. If I had confidence in Phila. staying with Foles long-term, it may change the scenario a bit, but Tannehill is going to be in there for sure at this point. Thanks for the insight.
