Ok Lets say V.Jackson gets traded or never see's the playing field. We all know Gates is the go to guy.So my question is does M.Floyd or L.Naanee put up better #'s??(standard scoring)
I am seeing Floyd as the red zone threat with his size. I know Naanee is big too, but Floyd has him by 3 inches. Against some of the smaller CB's in the league, that is a huge difference. I would definitely go with Floyd to start the season. I also think Buster Davis is going to get some looks as the #2 WR so that will also cut into Naanee's time. All 3 are unproven but this is the way I would go.
Well since they added Crayton he may push Naanee. An pushes Davis back.Im liking Floyd.I have Floyd in 2 leagues on a different site.Im putting the projected week 1 stats in ()'s.1 league I need to start either Floyd(13)vs KC Aromashadu(15)vs Det or Mason(8)vs Jets as my 3rd wr beings we start 3 wrs.My other league I have Floyd(13)vs KC Bowe(12)vs SD Massaquoi(12)vs TB Britt(11)vs OAK.Any suggestions????I also have A.Boldin in one league an they predict 3 points for Boldin week 1.Should I go with Meachem(10)vs Minny or Royal(10)vs Jacksonville.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I agree that Crayton being on the team in SD switches up a lot. I agree that Floyd should be the man in SD. So, with that said, I think I would go with Floyd in the first 2 scenarios and in the 3rd I think people are under estimating Boldin in the Boldin-Revis match-up. Revis makes his living bullying WR's at the line. If any WR in the league can put up #'s against him, I think it is Boldin. He has the best chance of the good WR's of not being bullied at the line because of his physical style. I think I would start Boldin in that week 1 match up. I am not sold on Royal, mainly because he didn't do so well last year when given the opportunity. Meachem is interesting because of the Saints' offense and the Vikings DB's not being very healthy right now. It would be a toss up for me between Boldin and Meachem. But keep in mind I am a Ravens fan so my judgment of Boldin could be a little cloudy.... LOL
LOL not to clouded.U could've said Boldin Boldin Boldin.Anyway I was leaning towards Floyd in the 1st 2 questions.I was just pondering Floyd an Bowe in the 1.That being said though.I haven't really seen any Kc preseason games. Also with Bowe I think I want to wait an see what they do with the offence atleast 1 game b4 going with Bowe. The Boldin question. As to Royal he had that great rookie year. Then last year I think I heard he was banged up or hurt alot last year. But would like to see what Royal looks like 1st b4 starting him.As u said in my thinking I had it a toss up to with Boldin an Meachem.Only thing with Meachem is his toe is messed up I believe not to the point of not playing but u know.As for Boldin being physical/tough.I have always liked him but when he took that hit against the jets 2 years ago an was knocked out instantly an looked like he died.I had a new level of respect for the guy because he was back playing so quick. An u have a valid point with him vs Revis. So im at pretty much going Floyd in both an I got till thursday to do a little more research an make that descission. Thanks for the help on them.1 thing u being a raven fan.I for some reason think that Mason has his usual good ff #'s or a little better.Whats ur take on Mason this year???Also if u need an opinion on anything let me know Ill try an help you out. Thanks again
I like Mason a lot, but with TJ in town now, there are only so many passes to complete, so who knows where they are going to go. They have Rice that needs his catches too. I am like our offense this year. Plus they have a good O-line and a good FB, where are defenses going to try and stop them? I see a fair # of Todd Heap TD's this year too. Everywhere you look there is an above average player.
That is true,,I just think that Mason is Flacco's old reliable. An flacco is used to the way Mason Plays/runs routes and what he tends to do in situations. An Mason will be where he is supposed to...Is that J.Wilson cb going to be a starter at cb this year?Or a nickel/dime player.I know u where losing cb's left and right at the begining of camp.McClain is the fb right? He is real good.
It is anyone's guess about what is going on at CB. That is the one weakness on the team. They need to address it pretty bad. The latest depth chart I see said that Fabian Washington and Chris Carr are starting. But who knows? None of them are very good. I am hoping that Lardarius Webb can turn into something. Foxworth is a pretty good #2 CB but he is not a #1 either so they definitely need to address this issue for the future. I just hope Ed Reed can come back and make a difference after his 6 week PUP time is over. I went to one of the pre-season games and he looked to be walking and jogging fine. He hopped around a few times on the side lines, so I am hoping for the best. He is a beast when healthy.
Yeah,I know the cb bmore got from the titans got suspended for something he did while with the titans. Then a couple got injured. Then I quit following what was going on.Webb wasnt to bad last year.An yes Reed is right at the top when healthy.I just knew the ravens got that cb Josh Wilson from seattle not to long ago an was just wondering what they planned on using him for.Im not sure if he was seattle's #3 or 2 CB.
Hey man, what is your email address? If you don't mind me asking of course. I would like to ask you something that I would really not like for everyone to be able to read.
I got a couple friends I met in the football chat on aol.Ones a browns fan an one is a ravens fan.An I always talk to this women thats a cincy fan it dont bother me.Who someone's team is.No biggie just depends on the person. The browns fan tells people all the time that Im the most level headed normal steelers fan he ever met.
OK, email sent. The AFC North is always one of the best divisions in football. I am a Ravens fan because I grew up in Baltimore and have always thought they ran a pretty good ship. Ozzie Newsome is the man... LOL... I am a football fan too though so I love all of the teams. Except maybe the cheating Steelers... LOL
LOL I know I here it all the time..refs and roids. Also the North should be pretty tough again this year.An same here i grew up in pittsburgh an still here.An yeah ozzie does make good moves an everything. An the fact bmore had to hi jack the browns to get a team back is ok by me.J/k...Anyway I got go out an do a couple things.I might get back on later or I will def be on here some time tomorrow.Ill see ya around..Later.
Yeah I would appreciate if you would. The trade happened because that team did need a RB and another team was willing to trade Brown. Once you get in the league you will see that it is different and you don't need the same things that you need in other leagues. Like I said that team was our league champion last season. I agree about the no back up QB, but maybe you can trade and get one. It is a pretty active league so a trade shouldn't be hard to find if you are willing to negotiate.
