A long running dynasty league, with a rookie only draft. 12 team category league. We base our draft order with the results of the NBA lottery. It is a fun, competitive league with a good group of owners. Some players on available team include Poole, Maxey, Mathurin, Haliburton, the non violent Bridges, and Murray. Below are the basic league bylaws.
1. Be active, be competitive. Respond to trade offers. If you cannot in time, please increase the time limit (to like a week) so everyone has a good chance to think and reply. If guys still aren't replying email them directly and ask them why. If that continues, please bring it to the attention of the LM. Trades are reviewed and approved/declined by league manager. Trades are only decline if collusion or any funny business is suspected. The philosophy is to let owners manager their teams as they see fit, and not try to micro manage trades. Don't keep IR guys that aren't IR on the IR.
2. The keepers are full roster. This means every year before the season starts you will keep your entire roster (NO ONE is allowed to be on IR) then the ESPN live draft will be run to get that process out of the way. After that, the 2 round NBA ROOKIE draft pick will take place. The first round is set exactly how the regular NBA draft is as far as standing. The draft order is determined by the NBA lottery for the first round. The draft is based on Regular Season standing (record), not the Final Standings. The 2nd round is based solely on standings (From worst to best picking). After the draft is completed, we will set a date/time where teams can go add undrafted rookies.
3. During the draft, you may add veteran FA's, but obviously, no rookies. You may also trade players and draft picks during the draft.
4. Be respectful of all others.
5. Trade Deadline is when line ups lock on the first day of the fantasy playoffs. Trading will open up once a playoffs are over and champ has been crowned.
6) Teams will be monitored for activity in setting their lineups, IR, and having viable players on their roster. If any team is deemed to be not active or tanking in anyway they will moved down in the draft order the following year. Teams can be moved down 6-12 spots depending on tanking level.
