No, it’s not fair. The Saints were using Hill as a gadget player all season with Brees healthy. He usually got a few rushing yards on wildcat plays, and one or two catches a game, with a couple of touchdowns sprinkled in for the season. He was never playable.
Now, Hill has been announced as the starting QB. He’s not going to be playing WR or TE this week, but he is incredibly likely to put up 10-20 points. That will make him a TE1 or put him somewhere in the WR1/WR2 conversation this week. His owners should be allowed to play him at QB for Sunday’s game, but not any other position.
You’re wrong, he most likely will get a few snaps at WR/TE still. Bottom line is he’s a rare player who is good enough to play either position, and fantasy owners who took the risk to stash him or were quick enough to scoop him should be rewarded.

Will Taysom Hill continue to be eligible for QB and WR slot given that he was just announced as a starting QB?
pableezFri 11/20/20 10:36 AM
heck no - y'all need to change that asap
CMCOCHOFri 11/20/20 10:48 AM
Like myself, you must not own any shares of Taysom 😂
Apro23Fri 11/20/20 11:19 AM
I need Taysom to be a TE thats his legit other position on the other sites and on the field
CMCOCHOFri 11/20/20 11:50 AM
But he’s the starting QB this week and presumably until Brees is back
Apro23Fri 11/20/20 11:50 AM
yes I know which is why I feel like he should be QB/TE not QB/WR
CMCOCHOFri 11/20/20 11:54 AM
So you just play your normal QB in the QB spot and then start Taysom in the TE spot. He’d outscore any TE by a ton
Apro23Fri 11/20/20 11:57 AM
Its been the same thing all season just as a WR which is not correct position wise but nobody was complaining before.
CMCOCHOFri 11/20/20 12:04 PM
If you can understand how his output will change as a QB, idk if you can comprehend anything
Apro23Fri 11/20/20 12:11 PM
I understand how it changes but its fair cuz he plays both positions

If he gets pulled which is entirely possible he will move over to TE

Apro23Fri 11/20/20 1:24 PM
Exactly but my only problem is that hes a TE in real life but listed as WR only on this site which I would like changed
JSoccorso28Fri 11/20/20 1:26 PM
Agreed he should be QB/TE rather than QB/WR
Apro23Fri 11/20/20 1:26 PM
Yup I rly hope they change it asap
trefightsFri 11/20/20 2:47 PM
If hes playing QB exclusively he should not be able to play TE or WR
clemdogFri 11/20/20 8:03 PM
He is projected for -0.12, not sure how his points will be accredited.. As a WR I mean
