Figured this out after posting but thanks. Will have to be changed next season. Ain’t no way we changing rules during a season let alone championship weekend.
Figured out the same thing just now after sending support a question about it. Can’t believe it took this long to realize I had it wrong. Not many D/ST shutouts have points scored by the opposing team. This could also happen if their only score is a pick 6 with a missed PAT.
The solution is to change your scoring rules to add x points if TOTAL pts is between 1 and 2 so if only a safety is given up they will still be awarded pts. My system gives 10 pts for 0 total pts then 8 pts for 1-7 OFF+S/T pts allowed 6 for 8-14 and so on. So I will add the new rule give 8 pts if total pts is between 1 and 2 to allow for the safety. There will still be the chance of having only 2 safeties scored and total pts being 4 or the situation DK mentioned of a defensive score with a missed extra PAT. I don't think 2 pt conversions are counted as OFF+S/T either? So a def TD with a 2 pt conv may screw it up too.

Ravens DST allowed zero points but the offence gave up a safety. The points should not reflect against the DST.
Thank you.

10 extra points when total Points Allowed is exactly 0
counts for all points. You need to change it to Offensive + Special Teams Points Allowed.
