I contacted Fleaflicker admins a while back and got confirmation that a kick return TD or punt return TD will count for the TM only if I set the scoring to TM only for those specific categories (regardless if a position player owned by someone scores, i.e. Welker).
Welker fumbled tonight (scoring settings are -2 for lost fumble for all positions, including TM (I thought the special teams fumble would count against the TM not an individual player owned by someone)) on a PR and it counted against Welker instead of the Denver TM.... How do I change this (I have fumble lost applied to TM too)!?
Basically, how do I have the fumble lost count against the Denver TM and not Welker? We try to keep individual players out of special teams statistics.
My league has the same rule - kickoff or punt fumbles count on the TM not the individual who fumbled - and I have been manually correcting them for years.
Basically we agreed that if the real-life football play is a special teams play then whatever happens on that play counts in fantasy terms *only* for the TM position, no matter who the individual players might be.
So let me put in another vote asking for a way to differentiate fumbles that occur on a special teams play. Thanks for looking into it.
1) That is correct. If your TD settings are set for TM only and Welker returned the kick for a TD, he would receive no points.
2) A fumble is separate. The ball is in play and it isn't deciphered as a ST fumble; it's recorded as a fumble.
If you want, you can manually adjust the stats. In the future, we'll do our best to address this by adding stats for ST fumbles, and O fumbles, but right now it is scoring correctly and there's no other way for us to record it.
You would have to manually edit it as commish for this year as we don't decipher the difference yet. It's something we plan on doing down the line, but won't right now.
Absolutely this should be taken care of. It makes no sense to count fumbles against, but not count TDs for. Though in the case of Welker, he deserves it.
how does one edit the score to remove the fumble? I am commish but the only option i see if to edit box score. When I select that it tells me that "only past box scores can be changed" This week is in the books and the scores are final. Am i doing this the wrong way? What is a "past box score" because now im confused.
Still hasn't been done and it reared its ugly head this week with Crowder. Team in my league missed the playoffs due to losing 1 point on the Crowder special teams fumble and wants the score to be changed. However, we have never changed it in the past so i don't think I can change it now. But it is kinda stupid that a fumble counts individually when a td doesn't

This is exactly why we do it.

It's scoring correctly in your leagues.

You have to wait every week until after Tuesday at 6AM ET to edit the past week's box score for that week.
You can do it now. Go to League>Settings>Edit Past Box Score

Any update on if this is going to be an available scoring option next year/possibly this year?
FleaMod AdminWed 10/16/13 9:19 AM
Not for this year, but it's definitely something we are working on and hope to have separated for next.
