In my Wartown League it seems as though the tie-breaker did not work properply. There is a team who has the same record as another team but they beat them H2H and had more total points scored.
BigDig is the team who did not make it and Vendetta the team that did. Any explanation why as I have a really upset owner and, as I see it, rightfully so?
This is my only problem with Flea Flicker. Over the course of the whole season the teams that score the most points and have the best records are the ones who should be in the playoffs. This should be the default setup. Leagues can play games with divisions and this other nonsense manually. We are not the NFL.
True, but this is 100% up to the league commish to set up. He/she has the choice to leave it the default way, or set it up another way. Most of the leagues I set up have highest point total as the first tiebreaker. The commish can also decide the divisional setup. You can set it up for just one division. I have a couple like that and they work well.
Our tie-breakers are set up like the NFL - with it going division record/ H2H / Total Points. I still have not seen anything that can support why Vendetta gets it over BigDig? BigDig owns all 3 of those tie-breakers over Vendetta, so why is Vendetta in and BigDig out? So far there has not been one explanation given that addresses this very simple question.
