I've read a good bit on how different leagues handle their keeper picks and how that affects draft picks for keeper teams. For any of you that run a keeper league now, just curious on how you determine which round to lose those picks? Value of last year's performance or where keeper player originally drafted or something else? Thanks!

Lose pick 2 rounds higher than drafted prior year. Must have retained player for entire last season. Only 1 keeper (or none). Can trade keeper after Week 1 of new season.

Thanks - I've seen that rule a few times. It appears both ESPN and NFL force you to lose first round picks automatically.

One question with your situation - what if it was a waiver wire player picked up midseason that wasn't drafted but has come on strong and worked way into a keeper for someone? Just curious on how you handle keepers who were not initially drafted.

In our league wavier wire picks are treated as last-round picks if it helps. Just a matter of preference.

That's where I landed too. Do you follow the lose pick 2 round higher than drafted rule too?

Yes, precisely.
