Technically, and per NFL rules from my understanding (and I am almost 100% sure here), once the Redskins take possession of the ball as they did on the play they are considered the offensive team; this in turn, considers the Saints the defensive team even when the Saints' offensive unit was still on the field. We'll keep an eye out on it, but it seems correct.
True, but if I remember correctly, once a team turns the ball over they become the defense and if they steal the ball back and score somehow it is credited as a defensive touchdown.

I just checked and the league you have him in only awards defensive TDs to the TM position and not to any other position.

How is that a defensive TD? It was the offense on the field. That makes zero sense.
