i've come across some corrupt commissioners in my recent flea travels, just today i just joined a league titled "Road to the Superbowl" co-commished by users Tmyers and MacroIsland, who i eventually found out to be one person Tim. along with the rigged draft, which was an atrocity to the idealism of fantasy football i feel it is only right that i report him for the shady character that he is. now, how i do i make sure my report receives attention so Tim is no longer allowed to masquerade around the general flea public? any feedback would be appreciated as i find the continued corruption on this site troubling to say the least.

Welcome to Fleaflicker. Sorry you are having this issue as it's not indicative of our site.

We don't police private leagues or public leagues with commissioners. We have public leagues you can join that do not have commishes.

In regards to cheating commissioners, we have a reliability system in place that will red flag them, kick them out of their league, or remove them from the site totally if reported by enough members from different accounts.

Please report them at Team>>Settings>>Report Abusive Owner

Donnie,

This issue is very indicative of this site and FleaFlicker has refused to deal with the problem of Commissioners who cheat. The reliability system they speak about is really a self policing situation and requires a majority of owners in a league to report a specific owner before FleaFlicker will even look at it.

The report cheating feature they have is a farce and does not cover Commissioners or cover the scope of problems involved. In fact they state so themselves "We don't police private leagues or public leagues with commissioners. We have public leagues you can join that do not have commishes."

So which statement is correct in the FleaFlicker statement above. They don't police private leagues or public leagues with commissioners or "In regards to cheating commissioners, we have a reliability system in place that will red flag them, kick them out of their league, or remove them from the site totally if reported by enough members from different accounts."

That different accounts means more than one league to me.

So if you're looking for any kind of integrity out of playing in the FleaFlicker systems. Then get out. By the way, their Public leagues are a farce also. Owners become inactive and there is really no effective way to get rid of them. You can see leagues out there with 12 teams and only 2 active teams, because FleaFlicker doesn't manage those either.

I've had this problem with FleaFlicker before and they refused to deal with those cheating problems within their system.

I said an option was to get out and I did. I dropped 40 football and baseball teams earlier and 26 basketball teams today. I was Commissioner in 19 of these leagues.

I did keep one baseball league because I've known some of these owners for years.

Don't expect anything to come of your complaint. Just drop the league and join another. I decided to pretty much just drop FleaFlicker and go elsewhere.

It's a difficult problem. We don't have the staff it would require to properly police leagues. I'm open to suggestions that we can automate.

We know the current system is flawed.

well the situation i presented earlier has since rectified itself, but overall i'm inclined to agree with cards as i've only returned to flea in May and have already encountered several similar problems. i myself have only complaints and no answers but i understand the site's position, i'm sure it is very difficult to "big brother" over every league on the site. my only suggestion would be that when an owner chooses to leave a league there should be an option we can select stating we are leaving due to cheating or unfair rules. this will prevent honest players such as cards from being flagged. i'm hesitant to leave corrupt leagues currently as i've already done it approximately four times now and do not want to be flagged. if you could somehow add this feature i believe it would help put a band aid over the issue. even though the problem would still remain it would be much easier for us members to deal with corrupt leagues.

I don't enough about your internal structure and staffing to make any suggestions on how to clear up this mess. FleaFlicker will probably maintain a player base to keep it active, until your advertisers start asking the question, Is that customer base accurate?. I know your customer base has to include thousands of accounts that are inactive. I can deduce this by the number of inactive owners I see.

You need to figure out a way to solve your problem before too many people become feed up and decide to go elsewhere.

I suggest giving power to commish to kill league at season start if not enough participants in lieu of autodraft .

sucks playin with 3 active owners ! Can't trade with an inactive owner/team ! commish should be able to contact owners and submit to Fleaflicker , team/owners to delete . The players from deleted teams go on waiver wire .

Fleaflicker must then reconfigure the schedule for the remaining teams . Season continues and gets infused with nu energy and interest !

Commissioners can remove inactive owners in their leagues and get new owners in. Public leagues do not have Commissioners and unless the owners drop out they just sit in the league as inactive managers and nothing can really be done about it. .
