The Bills-Bengals game was just postponed. My league's championship game is currently going on and one team has started Josh Allen. What is going to happen? Will the game be decided based on what games have completed by the end of the night, or will the site wait for the postponed game to be completed before crowning a champion?
The game won't be resumed this week and won't be in week 18 either at this point so it may be in a hypothetical week 19 or it may simply not be played/resumed at all
If flea closes the week now that the game won't be resumed, you could probably manually enter a tie score for the game in that case if you wanted to have co-champions
One guy suggested that in a league him & I are playing for the championship and game is close and can go either way. I like the idea but am wondering what the outcome will be on the site. Will it actually show 2 trophies and declare 2 teams as co-champs? Or will it show no trophy and declare there wasnt a champion?
Can we get a decision? Our league mates and the teams involved need to move forward which is made more difficult with the week still open. CBS, Sleeper, FFPC have made this call. Please disregard if you've already done that. I don't see it, though.
@fleafounder Could you at least give League Managers the option of extending the Playoffs another week, which currently we are locked from doing? That is probably the easiest solution to this matter at this point.
Yes this is unprecedented circumstances. However the postponement of a pivitol game and it's results was always a possibility given the violence of the sport and other outside threats to large venues. I would have thought a plan would be in place, apparently not . Not giving leagues and commissioners the ability to add a 2 week playoff, or at least add week 18 points from players affected is disappointing to say the least. I highly doubt this game is replayed , resulting in incomplete championships, without more options. We have been with FF since 2007 . We have been tempted to jump ship to another more modern ,advanced platform and this may be the final reason needed.
@sbuck81 Same here; we have used FF for 16 years and this is the last one for us. Moving to ESPN most likely next year. They offer zero support and put in zero effort. Ever since they began putting in obnoxious ads, their support has disappeared. And with this snafu they are just throwing in the towel. I highly highly doubt they will put in any effort in redoing the week 18 as owners have asked.
@fleafounder pretty disappointing that this one sentence is the only thing Fleaflicker has posted. I’d expect some form of update to all owners by email with “here are the steps we’re taking” and “here are your options”. The other owner and I who are in the championship are not overly worried and will move on with whatever is decided but like some other owners here, I’m strongly considering moving our league to another site. I’m sure you have a job, family, other things outside fantasy football, but if you run a site, you should keep your customers updated.
@JoMAma, if you play dynasty, you may not like ESPN. Played multiple Dynasty/IDP leagues there for years and FleaFlicker is WAY better. ESPN does not invest in changes, improvements, etc. Just my opinion based on my experience. Moved 4 leagues 2 years ago to FleaFlicker after 8 years on ESPN. Yes would like to see more enhancements added here, but I find it WAY better than ESPN. Especially for Dynasty leagues.
Now that the NFL has cancelled the Bengals Bills, I want to void the close contests for the championship round and use week 18 for championships. Most of my leagues have a clear-cut champ but there are about 10-12 that are still undecided. What do I do to fix this? Due to injuries, there's no guarantee that the week 17 roster will be used on week 18. Does Fleaflicker have an answer for this, or do I have to go in to each affected week 17 roster, add and remove the appropriate players and enter the week 18 results in week 17? Seems like a lot of busy work, I'll do it however several commissioners are up against it like I am and maybe Fleaflicker can give us an easier to do, more reliable option. Like Mark mentioned earlier, if it allowed week 17 or weeks 17 and 18 for championship, I could void week 17 results and week 18 would make the champion clear.

Is there a way to no-contest and crown co-champions if both finalists have agreed to such?

Would also like to know this. After exploring all other options, they all suck and seems like just going co-champs is the way.

We’ll keep week 17 open until the NFL makes an announcement about the schedule.

Flea is asleep at the wheel as usual. Does anyone know what real fantasy leagues like ESPN, CBS Sports, etc are doing for their leagues??

You can manually add week 18 #'s for the players affected. That's what we're doing in one of my leagues.

That's a good idea, flotsamnjetsam! I think if they don't offer any other alternatives, that's what we'll be doing in my leagues as well!
MatthewChaves86Wed 1/4/23 6:42 PM
@flotsamnjetsam: as in just editing the overall score or is there a way I am missing?

@MatthewChaves86: there's an "edit past box score" option.

Problem is they are not giving us any viable options.
Just accepting the outcome as is.
It's like all the players got injured and couldn't finish the game.
Stats only count up to that moment.
Cost me championships I would have won.
But that's the way it goes.
