The Bills-Bengals game was just postponed. My league's championship game is currently going on and one team has started Josh Allen. What is going to happen? Will the game be decided based on what games have completed by the end of the night, or will the site wait for the postponed game to be completed before crowning a champion?
An owner in one of my leagues made an excellent suggestion. The affected championship participants in the 8 leagues I'm commissioner in that have the Bills Bengals game cancellation problem are the ones involved. I'll change the week 18 results to week 17 only for the affected Bills and Bengals players. That includes a zero if the player is rested just as it would a zero be if he got hurt on the first play of the game. This will be a whole lot easier and probably is fairer than my Thursday evening approach of tossing week 17 fore 18 entirely. This way the bulk of each roster remains with whatever happened week17 and the only scores affected are those subject to this unique tragedy are changed. There's an option to change the game totals and I can post the numbers I'm using to the league to declare the Champion. I don't know if this will change who gets the crown on their permanent profile, but it seems fair and thank heavens Hamlin is improving. I've broken ribs more than once during CPR but the best CPR only does about 30% of normal cardiac output so you have to be working hard to keep the blood flowing.
Here's what Yahoo offered. Sad that FF didn't help like this :(
Unfortunately, there is no one size fits all solution to this issue, and we recognize that championship matchups have been affected by the cancellation of the game. However, commissioners can make manual changes to their league’s results via the Edit Team Points commissioner tool. Changes will be processed overnight and not be reflected immediately.
Here are some popular options to consider based on user feedback:
Use original Bills/Bengals player projections from Week 17 and apply them to your matchup.
Applying average points scored for rostered Bills/Bengals players over the last four weeks (or any time frame) to Week 17 matchup.
Combining official Week 17 results with Week 18 matchup results.
Removing results from Week 17 matchups and using Week 18 results instead.*
Use Bills/Bengals player points from Week 18 and apply them to your Week 17 matchup.
I’m the commissioner of a league where the leader in the championship game has a 20 point lead and Diggs. The other guy has Knox, buffalo kicker and buffalo running back. If we Flickr doesn’t do anything I’m thinking of using their week 18 stats in manually adjusting the scores
But will we be able to do that? What if week 18 gets played and finalized and then NFl announces they won't be playing the Bills-Bengals game. Will week 17 still be able to be edited? Or will the site be shut down until the new year is renewed and locked? That's what I would like to do but I don't know if the site will still be unlocked and give us the option to edit and we all know how horrible Fleaflicker support has been lately like talking to a wall when asking for help.
I'm commissioner of a league and we are doing the same thing. It was championship week. One of the guys was down 20 points but had Chase and Singletary. We are going to take the week 18 stats from those players and I'll go back and manually change their scores.
They scores from the first quarter of the Buffalo Bill game that has been cancelled have been deleted by Fleaflicker. See Flickr will still keep track of player points this week so all you need to do is add points for players this week to week 17 total. There is a way through commission or tools to update or edit a box score manually.
Unless the NFL states this game will be played as a "Week 19" match-up, our league is most likely going to treat this like a rainout in fantasy baseball. They'll get credit for whatever stats they had accumulated up until the game stopped, but that's it. It sucks because one team had Josh Allen and the other had Mixon and Higgins and the difference was just 7 points. But its fair to both teams and given the severity of the situation, I don't think either other is going to pitch a fit and look like an a-hole.
Is there a way to adjust the playoff settings at this stage? Our league has decided co-champs is no fun and we would instead like the option of a two-week championship (our league was previously set for Week 17 only). Where it gets complicated: we made this decision as a backup in case the Week 17 Bengals/Bills game is not played at all (the NFL has already stated it won't be this week). Any manual options here?
A 2 week playoff still wouldnt give the teams their full chance of winning as they would still be minus all those star players scores for week 17 to be added on. It would still be liking playing without those guys for a week a disadvantage.

Is there any way to see the final projected points for week 17 players?
Marc_ZanykWed 1/4/23 6:13 AM
Changing it to a 2 week playoff would be the way I'd want to go if they do not play that game.
FF should offer this option in this special case
FleaFlicker: Can you do that for us ?
Allow us to change playoff settings to 2 week playoffs this year. (Week's 17 & 18 combined)
To decide championship ???

And will you erase week 17's points from the total and just add week 18 only or add the week `17 pts & 18 together?

As commish, where in the commish settings are you able to manually edit a given player or team score?
JJKnoxFri 1/6/23 7:31 PM
Update:. Is. There a way to edit scores in a total points league?

Go to commissioner Powers, then edit box score, select the game you wish to edit, and then enter the new score.
