Hi,

Is there anyway to edit who owns which draft picks, like we can edit who owns which player?

Thanks,

James

Hello James!

Thanks so much for reaching out to us!

To answer your question, yes, you can.

To do this, you would go to Settings > Edit Draft Order > I want to edit the draft order round by round.

If you want to move players to certain teams, go to Settings > Edit Rosters, add or remove players from teams using this tool.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!

Hi Chris,

I don't see that option...is it because I have "These are complete rosters for this season" checked on the edit rosters screen? Either way, I'm trying to edit the 2017 draft picks.

Also, could it be because I'm the co-commish?

Thanks

James

James,

Yes. The reason this is happening is more than likely due to the fact that you have this option checked. Instead, choose "These are complete rosters, but still draft...". Once saved, then, the option to edit draft order should be there under Settings > Edit Draft Order.

Let me know!

That worked for the 2016 picks, thank you. Is there anyway to access the 2017 picks? We've had some trades made off the books there as well.

If you go to Team > Picks, it should show all picks until 2018/2019.

Just to hijack this as I have a similar question, is it possible as a commissioner to manually adjust future draft picks for 2017 and beyond?

Yea that's what I was getting at with my question "Is there anyway to access the 2017 picks?"

You worded it much better!

Unfortunately, there is no way to manually edit picks for future seasons, only the picks for the current season's draft. However, the easiest way to keep track would be to put the 2017 draft order on a Google Sheet for Excel Sheet, for instance, and then use that to keep track of traded picks throughout the 2016 season. Then, when 2017 comes, you can edit the draft order for that draft to mirror the Sheet you have, using the Edit Draft Order option in Settings.

Ok thanks, just makes it more difficult for owners to trade those future picks if the site isn't an accurate reflection of what each team has.

I think I'll get the owners in my league to send blank trade offers involving these picks, so they're correct on fleaflicker

Run_CMC Thu 7/14/16 9:51 AM

Well, if the picks are currently correct (they should be), then when you trade the picks between the teams, it will keep track of the picks and update according to where each team finishes each season, that way, you know you have the correct draft order.

Let me know we're on two separate pages. Perhaps I'm still a bit confused at the question.

It's related to another question really (see fleaflicker.com)

I've copied across this old league's info before it got deleted, and have a list of the trades for 2017 picks that were made. I'd like to reflect these 2017 pick trades on the site, so that owners can a) view the accurate list of 2017 picks, and b) use them in trades.

If I can't edit these future picks manually as commissioner, then I think I'll have to get the owners who made the initial trades, to then make them again on the new league, but without the players involved, as they have already been moved across to the correct teams.

e.g. I acquired a 2017 1st for Dwayne Allen from Team B. Allen is now on Team B's roster, but I don't have the 2017 pick due to migrating all the data across. So the only way I can see for this to be done on fleaflicker, is for me to to another trade now with Team B, where he gets 'nothing' (he already has Dwayne Allen), and I get his 2017 1st

Ahhh, okay. Yes, we were on the same page. Just wanted to make sure.

Unfortunately, this is not a feature that we offer at this time, however, I can suggest it as a future option and see if it can be placed on the agenda for future consideration.

Thanks for the information Spida!

Cool thanks for confirming! Would be a nice feature in the future for sure

Is there any way to edit future draft picks Beyond this upcoming draft now that I'm asking the question a few years after it was asked on this forum?

The only reason I came to this site is that I heard it we would be able to edit our draft picks for up to 3 years.
