autopick is a bit of a misnomer here, in an email draft the pick will not be made {even if the time limit is passed} unless a commish/cocommish uses the "commish draft" feature to pick a player for the team that has missed the time limit. Usually the league will have a set rule(s) in place as to who gets drafted, i.e. starting roster first, best ADP, no kickers etc.

We have no timer set for an email draft, so the player on the clock stays on the clock until they 1) make a pick, 2) trade the pick or 3) have the commish or co-commish draft for them in the Players section -- there is no auto-pick timer yet, but it's something we'd like to have soon.
