What if this is not considered By the NFL as an NFL bye week? As commish, I think I want to allow anyone with Steelers or titans players to use an IR spot for this week. Is there a way for me to set that up?
BS! The game was post-poned because of COVID 19. We made IR spots specifically for that! Every affected player should be tagged as COVID19! As usual, this site takes the lazy way out.
I tend agree, we added COVID IR spots for stuff like this, every Steeler - Titans player should be listed as COVID-19 for this week only. What if this happen in a week with 6 teams on bye; that would be 8 teams not playing. Re-think this please,
The most likely scenario for the game now if to have the Steelers and Ravens Week 8 matchup moved to Week 7 when both teams were to have their bye and then the Steelers and Titans will move to Week 7 when Tennessee has their bye week.
Because this is happening on a Thursday - it would be a lot easier if both teams players were given a Covid designation so we could use the IR slots as designed vs. doing manual workarounds
We are having to set IR to all players, manually make sure only steeler and texan players go there and I'm not sure what the affects are on waivers next week but will have to figure that out
FWIW Sleeper is changing their policy to make the Tenn/Pitt players Covid IR Eligible, I can't link to their twitter announcement though because of the filter.
I think this makes sense, given that a covid outbreak on a team is certainly going to drag the entire team down and not just one or two players like a normal injury. Now we have two entire teams going unavailable, and I think the same policy should apply here.

If the Titans and Steelers play Monday or Tuesday, will FleaFlicker support that?

Steelers-Titans game postponed to later in season: nfl.com
On Fleaflicker, Steelers and Titans players will show no matchup for week 4 (like a bye).
And no special injury designations will be applied except for players explicitly placed on the NFL's COVID-IR.

LouisB, are you saying commish is able to tag the players as IR eligible?
louisbThu 10/1/20 11:43 AM
You can set the limit to healthy which means you can put anyone there but you then have to police it manually
