I was curious on how this works or how to make it work. In one of the leagues I run, I need a playoff matchup in the consolation bracket competing for last place. It looks like in my previous leagues, they do not have a matchup for that. Is there anyway to make that happen? Last place would be the first two loser of the consolation bracket going against each other in week 17.
Long story short, the loser of the last place matchup has to do something.

We don’t offer brackets where the loser advances. But you can edit boxscores after the matchups
