Eric Tangradi couldn't get anything going alongside Evgeni Malkin and James Neal, so he has been demoted to the fourth line.
Despite seeing time with dynamic duo, Tangradi played very limited minutes in Pittsburgh's last two games. He saw 9:32 of ice time against New York last Sunday and logged just 4:27 versus Toronto on Tuesday. "I'm not frustrated, really. If I get back to playing my game and playing the right way, (playing with Malkin) might be an opportunity that arises in the future," he said. "I need to be better. I know that." Tangradi doesn't have any points after three games this season and he has just two shots on goal. If you took a flyer on him then it's time to cut bait.
