The Canadiens recalled Tangradi from AHL Hamilton on Monday, Arpon Basu of NHL.com reports. The team moved Lars Eller () to IR on Monday, opening up a roster spot for Tangradi to be promoted. Tangradi played in six games with the Habs earlier in the season, but failed to record any points.

Tangradi was reassigned to AHL Hamilton following Friday's win over the Kings, Rick Ralph of TSN 1290 reports. The winger had been a healthy scratch for the last two games after failing to produce any points in his first six games with the Habs. He'll be on the Canadiens' shortlist of call-ups should the team lose a forward to injury at some point down the road.

Tangradi made his debut for Montreal in Friday night's 2-1 loss to Buffalo. He saw 8:54 of ice time on the fourth line. Tangradi had one shot, blocked one and meted out a pair of hits. A good-enough effort that should get him in the lineup Saturday night when the two teams faceoff at the Bell Centre.

Tangradi will be active and skate on the fourth line Friday night against Buffalo, Hockey Inside Out reports. Tangradi, who was acquired from Winnipeg during the offseason, was called up from the American Hockey League earlier this week and will be making his Montreal debut.

Tangradi skated on the fourth line during Wednesday's practice, Hockey Inside Out reports. Tangradi, who was recently called up from Hamilton of the American Hockey League, practiced with Manny Malhotra and Dale Weise. Whether or not he's in the active lineup Friday night against Buffalo remains to be seen. Head coach Michel Therrien has been putting out lineups with seven defensemen lately.

Tangradi was recalled from AHL Hamilton on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. The Habs reassigned Nathan Beaulieu to the minors Monday in an attempt to have him pick up more consistent ice time, so it looks as though Tangradi will be taking over his roster spot. Tangradi, who was acquired from the Jets prior to the start of the season, had six points and 18 penalty minutes over 11 AHL contests. He's expected to be plugged in on the Habs' fourth line.

Tangradi was traded to the Canadiens on Sunday, Dave Stubbs of The Gazette reports. Tangradi was placed on waivers by the Jets on Friday, but will instead report to AHL Hamilton. He tallied three goals and six total points in 55 games with the Jets last season, but doesn't appear to be in line to make the Candiens roster.

Tangradi (lower body) was placed on waivers Friday, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports. The lower-body injury Tangradi sustained in Monday's preseason game might have motivated the Jets' decision, as he was squarely on the roster bubble heading into that game. It looks like he'll lose out to T.J. Galiardi and possibly Anthony Peluso for the Jets' extra forward spots.

Tangradi left Monday's exhibition game with a lower body injury and wasn't able to return. The severity of Tangradi's injury has yet to be released, although the Jets are likely being overly cautious since their season opener on Oct. 9 is just around the corner. Hailing from Philadelphia, the 25-year-old will likely be slotted in the Jets' fourth line during their 2014-15 campaign.

Eric Tangradi skated alongside Olli Jokinen and Blake Wheeler in Wednesday's overtime win over Colorado. He received the promotion because of Dustin Byfuglien's injury and took advantage of the situation by scoring his second goal of the season. "It was definitely a big exhale, that's for sure," Tangradi said. "There's been a lot of ups-and-downs for me this season. I tried to stay positive through them all and when you get an opportunity like (Wednesday), you try to take advantage of it." He has five points in 44 games this campaign.
