The 31-year-old is currently skating on the third line and has put up three points (two goals) in six games since arriving in the Windy City. If he continues to see decent minutes, the former 27-goal-scorer could be worth looking at in deeper formats.

Fleischmann was traded to the Blackhawks along with Dale Weise on Friday. In return, the Canadiens have received Phillip Danault and a second-round draft pick in 2018.

Chicago's forward group is absolutely stacked, with Andrew Ladd reuniting with the Blackhawks, a precursor to further upgrades by the likes of Fleischmann and Weise. Fleischmann was only a modest offensive contributor, pitching in 10 goals and 10 assists in 57 games with the Habs, but the journeyman is about to have the best supporting cast of his career. As a result, he's a nice speculative pickup in fantasy pools.

Long-term, the Habs want to give minutes to players like Sven Andrighetto or Jacob De La Rose.
