Nashville pocketed two goals in each period en route to the rout, with Greiss not offering much resistance in his first start since March 11. The veteran netminder has a 4.69 GAA and .855 save percentage over six appearances since the All-Star break, and he may not see the ice again until the final two games of the season, as the Blues have a home-and-home set against the Stars on April 12-13.

The Blues were able to cover that damage, which left an ineffective Greiss with his third loss in his last five outings. The 37-year-old has had a poor season with a 7-9-0 record, a 3.50 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 19 appearances. Binnington received a match penalty and could be suspended for his actions, at which point Greiss would likely take over the starting duties.

It was a busy night for Greiss, who has won two straight games. He hasn't seen much ice time since starting four games in January. Greiss started just one game in February and has two starts in March. With such limited ice time, he really isn't a viable fantasy option.

The Blues play back-to-back games this weekend, so Greiss was going to get one start. He has played only once in the Blues' last eight games, beating the Sharks 6-3 on March 2.
