Ryan Shannon confirms he has signed with Swiss club. The forward indicates his deal with the ZSC Lions is a three-year pact. Shannon, who would have been an unrestricted free agent this summer, said last month that he wanted to re-sign with the Lightning. He underwent surgery on his right shoulder before the end of the regular season and is less than two months into a 4-6 month recovery process. Shannon was 4-8-12 in 45 games with Tampa Bay.
