Nash sustained a groin injury during Sunday's shootout victory over the Devils and will miss Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh as a result, Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks clarifies that this groin injury does not stem from the one that caused Nash to miss four games recently, but is in fact on the other side of his groin. A timetable for Nash's return has not been established at this time. The 32-year-old had been on a tear in the three games since returning from the original groin injury, scoring two goals on 10 shots on goal with a plus-3 rating for good measure.

Nash was the only player to score on a goalie in Thursday's game against the Stars, beating Antti Niemi shorthanded in the third period to make a triumphant return from injury.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran power forward missed four games with a groin issue, but he certainly didn't look like he'd lost a step due to the injury, as he turned a penalty-killing takeaway at the blue line into a breakaway and a quick shot that got past Niemi. He got eased back in, skating just 15:21; it should be noted that Nash has seen his ice time scaled back by almost a full minute this year, but with 12 goals in 28 games, he's scoring much more plentifully than last season.

Nash (groin) will suit up for Thursday's matchup with Dallas, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nash prepares to make his comeback after a brief four-game absence due to this ailment. When healthy, the winger has racked up 11 goals and seven assists while logging 16:02 of ice time per night. With the veteran ready to go, the Rangers sent Nicklas Jensen back to the minors.

Nash (groin) was on the ice Tuesday morning, albeit wearing a non-contact jersey, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nash is effectively ruled out for the evening's contest against the visiting Blackhawks, and Rangers brass ultimately will want to see how the veteran power forward holds up while taking contact in practice. The adjusted return date for Nash is Thursday for a road game against the Stars, but that could change depending on his participation level at the next morning skate and/or practice.

Nash's (groin) MRI results Wednesday revealed that he will miss one week, Stephen Whyno of bigstory.ap.org reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's good news for fantasy owners as Nash's fantasy owners can expect the 32-year-old back in short order. The left winger produced seven points in his last eight games prior to his ailment and will look to continue his bounce-back 2016-17 campaign when he returns to the lineup.

Nash is getting an MRI on his injured groin, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not good news that this injury is potentially major enough that it requires an MRI, but it's not time for Nash owners to make panicky moves until the results come back. Nonetheless, it now seems distinctly unlikely that he'll be ready to play Thursday in Winnipeg after departing Tuesday's game with the injury.

Nash tweaked his groin in Tuesday's game, NHL.com's Brian Compton reports.
EDGE Analysis
He departed after just 8:13 of ice time thanks to the ailment -- a tough break, considering he was in the midst of a highly active offensive effort (five shots). Nash has been enjoying a bounce-back season after last year's disastrous campaign, so Rangers fans and fantasy owners alike will surely hope this injury turns out to be a minor one.

Nash left Tuesday's game against the Islanders with a lower-body injury and will not return.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly how Nash sustained the ailment but given he'll remain out the rest of the night, his status for the Rangers' next matchup with the Jets on Thursday is in question. Prior to his exit, the 32-year-old left winger tallied his 18th point of the season over 8:13 of ice time.

Nash scored the game-tying goal early in the third period Tuesday against Carolina, then assisted on Jimmy Vesey's game-winning power-play tally later in the frame.
EDGE Analysis
Nash's unassisted tally 24 seconds into the final period was a thing of beauty -- a steal that he rushed up the ice and then backhanded right past Carolina netminder Cam Ward, dinging it off the crossbar and in. Nash had been pretty consistent to start the year, but he hit his first semi-slump recently, recording points in only two of the prior seven games. It's good for the Rangers' offense and fantasy owners alike to see him bounce right back and crack double-digit goals this early in the season; he's already just five short of last year's disappointing 15.

Nash scored an unassisted goal to start the Rangers' comeback in Monday's 5-2 win over Pittsburgh, adding an empty-net assist to close it out.
EDGE Analysis
The Blueshirts trailed 2-0 after the first period, but Nash's hard work started their comeback in the second frame, as he took the puck from a Penguin with a hit, then tried to center it. His pass was blocked by defender Justin Schultz, but it bounced right back to Nash, who buried it for his eighth goal. That sparked the Rangers, who went on to dominate the game from there, ending a two-game skid. Nash hadn't managed a point in three games or a multi-point effort since Oct. 30, so this was as big for him personally as it was for the Rangers as a team.
